Why are Southern Baptist lobbyists silent as Leftists & Woke corporations attack Ron DeSantis and Florida for protecting our kids?
The Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC) is silent on Florida Parental Rights in Education law. The Southern Baptist ERLC is silent even as Woke corporations and radical Leftists attack Gov. DeSantis and Florida for standing up and defending parents.
On March 28, DeSantis signed this landmark law protecting children from indoctrination.
DeSantis said, “Parents have every right to be informed about services offered to their child at school, and should be protected from schools using classroom instruction to sexualize their kids as young as 5 years old.”
This is a huge conservative victory for families and conservatives.
Naturally, the Woke are in meltdown with corporations like Disney attacking the bill.
And what is the lobbying arm of the Southern Baptist Convention doing?
Nothing.
The ERLC has not posted a single article on its website about Florida’s new law or why school children should be safe from radical sexual ideologies. The ERLC is silent as disturbing revelations emerge of megacorporations admit to indoctrinating children via programming.
Silence from the ERLC.
On the ERLC website today are stories including How the Russian invasion of Ukraine impacts vulnerable children; How to talk to my teenager about vaping; Explainer: What you should know about President Biden’s budget proposal; Explainer: Biden signs bill making lynching a federal hate crime.
Ukraine.
Biden.
Vaping.
Nothing about Florida or Parental rights.
Why ignore this important story?
The silence tells us all we need to know about the priorities of the ERLC’s leadership.
Likewise, the ERLC twitter is silent on this explosive and critical issue.
While silent on Twitter about the Florida law and the indoctrination of five-year-old children, the ERLC did find time to promote “quick action” for the children of illegal immigrants.
Priorities at the ERLC are illegal immigrants but not protecting our children from sexual indoctrination in kindergarten.
Even though Russell Moore has fled the ERLC, his Leftist legacy continues.
