When a South Florida church rejected a Woke candidate for pastor, Wade Burelson and other SBC Elites spread lies about the conservative church members.

Church members rejected as pastor a man who promoted Black Lives Matter. That got them labeled racists.

A candidate for Oklahoma’s Third Congressional District Republican nomination participated in spreading a hoax that implied some members of First Baptist Church of Naples, Florida, were racists. Wade Burleson, a retired Southern Baptist pastor, spread the lies about racism when the church rejected a Woke candidate for senior pastor.

On his blog, Burleson quoted allegations that the church rejected Marcus Hayes because of racism. He writes, “‘Last week, through social media, texting, phone calls, and emails, racial prejudice was introduced into our voting process.’ Let that sink in. The Southern Baptist Convention began with racism, and the Southern Baptist Convention, unless there is radical, deep, personal and corporate repentance, will continue in latent racism.”

And to make it clear, Burleson demanded the church expel the racists.

“The 81% of members who voted for Marcus Hayes should follow the pastoral staff’s recommendations and do something about the racism. No more talk. Do something,” Burleson writes.

The only problem: it was all lies from Leftists attempting to smear conservatives in the church. Burleson spread those talking points without having any facts.

For example, here are members of the church recounting how they were labeled racists by SBC Elites—men like Wade Burleson—and nobody bothered to listen to their concerns. And, as you will see in the video, these conservative Southern Baptist church members had legitimate concerns that should have been addressed. Instead, Wade Burleson and his SBC Elite friends called them racists.

Church members who rejected the Woke candidate were worried about Woke ideologies. They had evidence that the candidate promoted Black Lives Matter on social media and the Critical Race Theory inspired book Woke Church.

“The pastoral search committee failed. They presented a Woke candidate to a church that is not Woke and does not want to be Woke,” said Ronnie Nall. “Marcus Hayes is Woke. He’s hiding it. He’s deleted the evidence from his social media. We have copies.”

Some of the complaints—actual complaints backed up with evidence included the pastoral candidate’s promotion of the Black Lives Matter movement.

“(The Woke pastoral candidate) said, I agree with Black Lives Matter. I don’t agree with the militant side,” said Terri Dolan, who is married to a police officer. “Look police are dying because of this movement because what it’s done is empowered people to go up against the police. It’s not Christ-like. A pastor in that position to do that it lacks huge discernment my position.”

Burleson is running in the GOP primary against the Donald Trump endorsed Republican incumbent Frank Lucas and Oklahoma state Rep. Sean Roberts.

If you are a conservative voter in Oklahoma’s 3rd Congressional District, you should demand your representative in congress reject Woke talking points and that your representative in Congress hears both sides of a story before labeling people racists.

As we’ve warned Republican voters, RINOs along with Woke fanatics are trying to turn the 2022 Republican Red Wave into a Purple Wave. It looks like there are many Woke candidates across America attempting to slip into Congress this year. We must all be alert!
