SBC Elites shopped a private draft of Jennifer Buck’s article to media outlets in an attempt to silence conservative Pastor Tom Buck.

The despicable attack on Tom Buck and his wife Jennifer Buck showcased the low that Woke Southern Baptists attain in their attempt to silence conservatives and win another SBC Presidential election. However, it appears the attack backfired because Tom Buck promises bombshells that expose the forces behind the political hit.

Tom Buck said on Twitter, “On April 1, I received a phone call informing me that the powers that be in the SBC were shopping my wife’s rough draft concerning our marriage to news outlets attempt to silence my voice. Never did I dream this despicable action would happen the week of Easter.”

The powers that be? Who are “the powers that be” referenced here?

Well, Buck dropped a hint in a Twitter thread last night. Tom Buck said the political hit job involved SBC leaders and an SBC employee or employees.

Specifically, Buck said, “If it is proven that any SBC leader was involved in disseminating my wife’s rough draft, will you join us to call for them to be held fully accountable? And if an SBC employee to be terminated?”

In other words, Buck was telling us that people paid by the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention were involved in the plot to silence an outspoken conservative Southern Baptist by exploiting his wife’s story.

And Buck hints that there are many big issues to be revealed; however, he said that this is Holy Week and he cannot allow SBC politics to intrude when the focus should be on Easter.

Buck said, “But there is much more to the story that must now be revealed. The important details are not those that come from the unpublished words of my wife’s rough draft, but those that will be released soon to shed light on the darkness that was behind this political hit job.”
