The Trucker Convoy shows how conservatives can expose the authoritarian nature of Leftists.

I love AD Robles. He is right about almost everything his videos address. So, you should watch his videos if you aren’t already doing it. However, this is one time I want to publicly dissent from Robles’ view of the Trucker Convoy.

First, the good points Robles made that are worthy of serious reflection. Robles pointed out that the annoyance factor of the protests (such as honking all night to deny people the ability to sleep) is something that demands reflection. Robles rightly pointed out that at some point preventing sleep is a form of torture.

If Trudeau were being denied sleep that would be one thing; however, he was tucked away at some safe, undisclosed location. Most of the people affected likely had nothing to do with Canada’s authoritarian turn. (Though, many of them are no doubt enablers of the Trudeau government.)

Now to the point of disagreement. Robles said the Trucker Convoy was poorly designed.

Robles said, “What do you expect is going to happen? What do you think he’s going to do? Of course, he’s going to overreact because he’s a freaking maniac.”

Yes. And this is what made the convoy a brilliant revolutionary move.

The Trucker Convoy was perfectly designed because it placed Justin Trudeau and his government in a no-win situation.

If Trudeau allowed the protests to continue, then eventually, the regime would have been brought to its knees. The capital would be paralyzed, and his government proven effete.

The only other option would be for the government to respond harshly to the peaceful protestors. Which is exactly what Trudeau did. (Though, how far Trudeau went was an even greater blessing. Trudeau’s weaponization of the banking system highlights that the average citizen cannot have confidence in any institution. When the state cuts one off from their own money without a court order and turns banks into deputies of the state, then there is no real liberty.)

The protest was perfectly designed to highlight the contradictions within the liberal order—and the contradictions with Left political parties. It is now clear that Leftists are happy to use repressive tactics to crush their political foes.

Trudeau decided to save the government by crushing his political enemies.

Thus, Trudeau revealed the implicit contradiction within the liberal order: Leftists prioritize their power over dissent, the rule of law, and democracy. (For what is a better expression of democracy than the right of the people to petition for redress of grievances?)

For these reasons, the Trucker Convoy was brilliant political strategy. It pressed on the neuralgic point of Leftist parties. These parties claim to be for the Worker; however, they are the party of the Elite classes. Their impulse just as the Bolsheviks is to silence worker protests. Today’s Leftists are no different than Lenin—they cover their brutality with bad haircuts and hushed, effeminate voices—in other words, Justin Trudeau. He epitomizes the Leftist Nanny State.

Because of the Trucker Convoy, Leftists can no longer hide behind the Workers—for they abandoned them.

Because of the Trucker Convoy, Leftists in the West can no longer claim to be for protests.

Their lies are exposed.

We should thank the truckers for this great service.
