Tucker Carlson sounds like Ronald Reagan combined with policies similar to Donald Trump.

Evangelicals looking to find a new conservative voice will find that Tucker Carlson offers Trumpian policy without the Trumpian rhetoric. Carlson communicates like Ronald Reagan and that positions him as the leader of traditional conservatives in 2021.

Tucker Carlson became the voice of conservatives during the chaos of the 2020 BLM riots. Carlson said what everyone was thinking—Democrat Elites allowed riots to destroy cities for their political goals. Last night, as the “protestors” or “mob” was cleared from the US Capitol, Carlson pled for national understanding between Right and Left. He challenged all of us to a national conversation that ponders the woman killed in the capitol—why was she there? It leads us to another question: Why has the US government failed?

Watch his monologue. It could be the first speech of the 2024 Presidential Election contest. His themes are important: Unity over violence and understanding instead of anarchy.

Carlson is right: “Political violence begets political violence.” He points out that nobody’s life will be better because a woman was shot inside the capitol. Instead, Carlson offers a path toward repairing the nation.

Tucker Carlson said, “Our only option is to fix what’s causing this. We don’t have a choice. You may have nothing in common with people on the other side of the country. Increasingly, you probably don’t. But you’re stuck with them anyway.”

Carlson continued, “The idea that groups of Americans will somehow break off into separate nations of like-minded people — that is fantasy. It won’t happen. There is no such thing as a peaceful separation. There never has been. There won’t be. The two hemispheres of this country are inseparably intertwined. They are co-joined twins. Neither can leave without killing the other.

Carlson said, “So that’s the first thing to know: as awful as this moment is, we have no option but to make it better.”

He continued, “The second thing to consider is why the woman who was killed today went to the rally in the first place. We don’t know anything about her, but she didn’t look particularly radical. She bore no resemblance to the angry children we’ve seen wreck our cities recently. The woman in the Capitol hallway looked pretty much like everyone else. So why was she there? Why were any of them there today? We ought to think about that.”

In fact, Carlson was more right about that woman killed in the capitol than most know. She was a 14-year veteran who served four tours of duty in the Air Force. Her name was Ashli Babbitt. She “was a high level security official throughout her time in service,” according to the report from KUSI-TV, San Diego.

That makes Carlson’s question even more striking—what drives a veteran with an apparently distinguished career to attend a protest all the way across the country?

The answer is obvious—she felt America is in jeopardy. The same thing that motivated her to serve her country in the Air Force placed her in Washington, DC.

For so many Americans, both the American Dream and America’s traditional values seem lost. Figuring out how our government failed and why so many feel despair is a conversation worth having.

And if we hope to save America, then we must have it.

  1. Your comments sir quite frankly are amazing. You are in point of fact delusional. A presidential election was just stolen and you think that there is a chance to elect anybody remotely having your values in 2024? Conservatism is an abject failure. What exactly has been conserved? I’ll tell you what. Nothing. The globalists are nothing but communist. They are at war with you. They want you and your family impoverished and dead. There is no reasoning with them. All of this has been nothing short of a Marxist revolution to take over the United States. Communist China is behind all of this. Nobody is coming to save you. Voting harder at them will not save you. Voting has not changed anything. And if you think violence isn’t the answer then sell every firearm you have and just beg for mercy when they come for you. Because if you don’t think violence is the answer then you would be a hypocrite to ever defend yourself. Voting in these formally United States of America is finished. If you can’t see that, then I pray that the scales will be lifted from your eyes. I sincerely believe that you were a brother in Christ, but articles such as this do no one any good. Discard your normalcy bias. Wake up. The hour is very late.
