  1. Will we have enough players left to field a fucking team? Sunseri wasn’t enough? What’s this shit about Del Rio? What the fuck did he come to Bama free for if he is gonna leave when he could be the heir. AND be coached by a proven QB developer. This off season has already turned to shit in just 2 weeks. Coker damn well better transfer to Bama or we’re gonna get stuck with Sims just because nobody else has shit for experience.

  2. I love A-Day. I never miss it.

Sorry, I don’t think Alabama is doomed, and there’s nothing better than watching Alabama football with 90,000+ friends…for free.

I’ll be there. Roll Damn Tide.

  3. Just what the fuck do you think walk on means. No scholarship. No compensation from the school other than what he would qualify for from School, State or Fed aid after applying like any regular non athlete student. Other than that he pays his own way.

    1. Get over Del Rio.

      Get over Sunseri.

Get over Oklahoma, Doug Nussmeier, partly cloudy weather, late payment fees, traffic and whatever else bothers you about Alabama football.

Maybe my memory is short, but I can’t remember being this excited for A-Day in a long time. Change is coming. Roll Tide.

      1. I agree Conduit! But I still have some reservations about Kiffin. His legacy will follow him whereever he goes and now that he’s landed at the Capstone I can’t help but worry. I dunno, maybe I’m just being overly cautious, but as for me, the jury is still out.Still….. RTR

        1. You say you can’t help but worry.

I say yes, you can. If the jury is still out on Kiffin, I understand. You don’t get fired at an airport in the middle of the night for nothing. But if not Kiffin then at least give Saban the benefit of the doubt for Kiffin’s hire.

The only thing everyone who isn’t an Alabama fan is worried about is Alabama staying elite. I understand reservations about Kiffin, but not of the guy who hired him and the choices he’s made for building his staff.

But maybe this will help—–Alabama has the most stringent compliance department in the country. If you’re worried about Kiffin doing things the wrong way, so is Alabama, who is also keeping everyone we’re not worried about in compliance the exact same way.

Lane’s legacy, and the reason he got three consecutive monster head coaching jobs, was his prolific success at USC. Many seem to have forgotten that (albeit not Saban), but if it helps this is the first time he’s had the same position that garnered him so much success including national championships and a Heisman winner.

A-Day is going to be televised nationwide, and everyone will be surprised by what Alabama looks like. I can’t wait.

  4. Alot of these players autographs on ebay come from signings on fan day,and after games.Theres always gonna be sellers hanging around….The issue is Mr Al Betar has A cease and decist letter from the University, and continued to reach out to players..He is basically throwing up his middle finger at Alabama by doing what he is doing..These players know who he is,yet continue to o around him why, because he offers stimulating intellectual conversation.?!?!??!no,i dont think so…He doesnt care what happens or what rules are broken…alabama needs to keep their players away from him..He is more than,:A nice guy with A suit shop in the mall” come on GUMPS,wake the hell up.Every program has the lechers hanging around,Every program, its bullshit to even say otherwise…These guys get A sense of power and control, and feel like they have A type of conrol of the player,in A way..He is bad news people,if you think otherwise, then your as dumb as the current players he is associating with..
