Alabama Crimson Tide Coach Nick Saban said defensive players Robert Lester and DeMarcus Milliner would likely miss Monday practice, but be back Tuesday.

“We had a couple guys that probably may be a little slow or limited in practice today,” Alabama football coach Nick Saban said. “Robert Lester would be one of those guys. Dee Milliner is sick today. He’s not hurt; he’s sick. I’m not sure whether we’ll let him out to practice, or if they’ll keep him away from everybody else. We’ve got a couple of other guys that are probably a little limited today, but we expect everybody to be full strength and ready to go tomorrow for sure.”

Safety Robert Lester was injured during Alabama’s win over North Texas. Lester suffered back spasms and left the game during the second half.

Lester and cornerback Dee Milliner are expected to be important parts of Alabama’s plan to slow down the potent Arkansas offense.

  1. I hope they will be in good shape for this Saturday game. If all goes as planned, I will be watching this game in Alabama. Leaving Thursday morning. Got to see that Friday night HS football game. RTR
