EXCUSES: Vols say execution, not Tide beat them

“After watching film, it really wasn’t anything Alabama did to mess up our running game,” offensive lineman Vladimir Richard said. “Whether it was penalties, mistakes or missed assignments, it was basically just us.” Here’s the entire story:

it is all in due time before Fulmer “announces” his retirement which will come at the end of this season.

“The same things win that have always won. We’d just have a different bunch of excuses if we lose.”

“It’s different things. If you could just put (a finger on it) and fix it, you’d fix it,” Fulmer said.

Its called having a defense dominate your ass Phil. You cant execute when the opposing team is abusing you like a rented economy van from a no-name car rental agency.
Here is a clue. Even Auburn whipped your ass and they didnt have an offense.

The two teams that are penalized more than UT, Florida and UGA. It seems to really be hurting them, huh?

Remember last year Cutcliff and Fulmer said the same thing. They beat themselves. The Tennessee announcers said it better: Alabama whipped them on the line.

Jay if the post is true:
Fulmer is leaving UT. Look for the jet to begetting fueled up in Lee County and as an added bonus, Tommy Tuberville will be up on Rocky Top making a spectacle of himself again. God, this would be a great thing indeed!

Id have to agree with Fulmer. The refs and poor execution gift wrapped a bammer win. Tennessee beat Tennessee not Alabama.

Ballplay, come on man you can do better than that. Where has your fire gone? You just don’t piss me off like you used to….

Being undefeated has a way of keeping you happy, doesnt it ?

Ballplay: Being a loser kinda takes the fire right out of you doesn’t it? But your post is ironic. Tennessee did beat themselves when they played Auburn. If Crompton didn’t drop the ball in the ENDZONE, I doubt Auburn would have scored enough to win. Go Ole Miss!
