Fan Day set for Sunday, Aug. 3

F ans can watch a practice session, and then collect autographs Sunday, August 3. The practice session is set for 2:30 p.m. at Bryant-Denny Stadium. According to UA, fans can enter the stadium beginning at 1:30 p.m. using the west side gates 6-17.

Around 4:30 p.m. practice concludes, and then fans can attempt to get an autograph. According to UA, “those wishing to participate in Fan Day will enter the field through the south tunnel and then exit via gates 17, 4/5, 37 and 29. If fans do not wish to view practice and would like to start lining up in the south tunnel, they can do so beginning at 1:30 p.m. Those fans can enter Gate 23 (A Gate) and wrap around to the east side.”

Since this is summer, Coca-Cola products and Golden Flake products will be sold at a special rate of $1 per item.

Parking
Parking is available “On campus including the Ten Hoor decks and surface lots as well as the Tutwiler, Coleman Coliseum and Barnwell Hall parking lots. No special accommodations will be made for Recreational Vehicles (RVs), but there will be limited parking available only at Coleman Coliseum and on the grass lot on University Boulevard (RV Lot 9),” UA said in a release.

    Exactly! Six Flags and baseball stadiums charges an arm and a leg, plus your first born for tax. I guess they’ve gotta make as much additional money as they can some way or another.
