A new Discovery Channel series is expected to air a show examining the death of Logan Young. The series is unnamed, according to the Commercial Appeal, but examines cases with mysterious circumstances or unanswered questions. Production crews have talked with persons interested in the case, including attorney Philip Shanks.

“Police have evidence that I wasn’t privy to,” Shanks said. “But there were a couple of things that didn’t sound right to me. Logan never walked around nude. When we would take trips together and roomed in hotels, he would get in bed fully clothed. Also, police said they found no money in Logan’s house. Logan kept wads and wads of cash in his house. He never kept less than $50,000, and really it was closer to $100,000.”

An airdate is pending. Expect it to air in the fall.

  1. Young was a well-known drunk, so the circumstances of his death may have been tragic, but suspicious? Not so much.

I don’t buy the idea that the fact that his attorney never saw him walk around naked makes any difference in the circumstances of his death.

Okay, now trying to flush that nasty image out of my head….

  2. So, they never officially reached a legitimate verdict on the cause of his death, did they?

  3. Kevin.
You are normally the guy who is fair and shows good etiquette, I cant believe that came from you.
The guy probably had a family. I know that those words weren’t of much comfort.

  4. tmc1, Logan was divorced and his son was not allowed to tresspass onto Logan’s property. Drug abuse & stealing I think was the reason. Logan had friends but not family.
