Monday (late) roundup

Short is the joy that guilty pleasure brings—Euripides

Alabama legend Keith McCants was arrested Monday morning on drug charges, the Mobile Press-Register reported. There is little to say, other than how sad this is.

In other news of the day, Nick Saban plans to address the media Tuesday. I’ll try to post comments as soon following it as possible (not sure how soon, but I’ll do my best.)

Alabama basketball commit JaMychal Green put on an impressive performance Monday at the AHSAA’s Final Four at the BJCC. Green scored 26 points; he was 10-13 from the free throw line. I guess that means some coaches in the state know how to teach free throws, contrary to what Donald Maurice Jackson said. Green also notched 12 rebounds and 8 blocked shots. A very good effort on the state’s brightest stage for basketball.
