Firm hired by SBC supports group funded by Soros

Guidepost Solutions supports Human Rights group funded by George Soros.

Guidepost Solutions promotes leftist ideology including ESG & Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).

Despite claims to the contrary by Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) Elites, Guidepost Solutions has ties with leftist groups including a Human Rights organization that is funded by George Soros. According to Guidepost Solutions, its team members support Human Rights First. And according to Human Rights First, it receives funding from a range of groups including the George Soros Open Society Institute.

According to the organization’s website, “The organization also receives funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation; the Carnegie Corporation of New York; the Ford Foundation; the JEHT Foundation; the John D. & Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation; the Open Society Institute; the Rockefeller Foundation; the Scherman Foundation, the Surdna Foundation; the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation; and many others.”

The connection between George Soros and Guidepost was first reported by Janet Mefferd.

And this is not the only connection between the Southern Baptist Convention and George Soros. As we previously reported, the Southern Baptist Convention’s Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC) was involved with the Evangelical Immigration Forum—and that group was created by the National Immigration Forum (NIF) and the NIF was funded by George Soros.

And the leftist drift of the SBC continues as Guidepost Solutions was selected by SBC Elites to manage its Ministry Check website.

Guidepost Solutions appears to embrace many elements of leftist ideology—including what is known as ESG. ESG is widely condemned by conservatives as being a dangerous form of Social Credit Score. And yet, this is something promoted by Guidepost Solutions.

Guidepost Solutions CEO writes for Forbes, “Compliance and the board can hold management accountable to execute tangibly against ESG commitments, work with Human Resources to balance performance merit with diversity, equity, and inclusion standards.”

Balance merit with DEI.

That’s an interesting exhortation.

And of course, Guidepost promotes DEI—Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, which is another leftist tool for furthering socialist ideology. Never forget the infamous tweet declaring, “Guidepost is committed to strengthening diversity, equity, and inclusion. How’s that for checking every leftist box?
