Spring practice hasn’t even started, but gambling has already begun on who will win the 2009 BCS National Championship.
Online sportsbook Bodog’s list of odds showed Alabama as a 50/1 shot to win the next BCS title. That is better than Notre Dame who is listed at 70/1, and better than Boise State who is listed at 90/1. However, Auburn has a better chance, according to the sportsbook at 28/1, as does Clemson at 22/1.
USC is listed at 3/1. And what of that powerhouse of moral virtue from Ann Arbor? Michigan is listed at 35/1. Georgia and Florida are both 6/1.
