Fun & Sun: The perfect summer playlist for driving with the windows down

Kia and Microsoft have teamed to present the UVO experience in the new Kia Rio. As part of the fun, Kia and Spotify are creating the Best Songs with Your Windows Down Playlist. Visit the Kia Facebook Page: “Best Songs with your Windows Down” playlist, and right there on the Kia Rio Playlist page enter the song title and artist you consider the best song to play with your windows down. Enter your name and email and click submit.

It is that easy. I even submitted a song.

Katy Perry? No. Richard Marx? Not so much.  

I picked “I Fought the Law” in the style of Green Day. It is the perfect song to play during a beach trip for spring break, or just driving around town during the warm days of spring with the windows down and the breeze keeping things cool.

If I had another pick for the playlist, I’d be forced to chose between something from Dean Martin or Poison. There is just no substitute for the classics.

You can also view the entire playlist to see what everyone else thinks about the best music for this summer’s driving season. To see the playlist, just enter your name and email on the Facebook page and you’ll be taken to a page that asks if you have Spotify. If you do, then click that you have it and if you don’t then you have the option to install and Get Spotify. Spotify is integrated nicely into Facebook and you will use your Facebook login to create the account—this allows you to share what you are listening to with your friends along with other benefits.
