Alabama Football: Fall Camp Update Practice #5

Wide receiver Duron Carter remained unavailable for Alabama Tuesday as the Crimson Tide football team awaits grades and transcripts for the wide receiver to be declared eligible.

“The issue is school at these places was out about when we got started,” Alabama football coach Nick Saban said. “So to get grades posted and transcripts is what we are waiting on. We don’t know there are issues, but we are waiting on the information.” Saban said the school has people working on it, and that it likely frustrates Duron Carter.

Alabama football coach Nick Saban sees incremental improvement from his football team. And at this stage of Fall Camp that is exactly what he is looking for from his players.

Alabama begins two-a-days Wednesday, will hold one practice session Thursday and another two-a-day workout on Friday.

Injury update
Arie Kouandjio and Ryan Kelly are injured and day-to-day, but “neither have significant injuries,” according to Alabama’s football coach. Kounadjio wore a wrap on his leg during Tuesday’s practice. Undra Billingsley suffered an illness that was not football related and is hospitalized for testing.

Somebody needs to have their azz kicked for the Duron Carter mess. I don’t give a damn if the school is out or not. Like the dumbazzes didn’t know it was going to be out now? What the hell kind of fly by night operation is the Alabama athletic department running anyway? I damn sure wouldn’t want them running my business. Starting to wonder about the T-Town shyt now, if they are no more efficient and on their toes than that. RTR!

Well, I wouldn’t go as far as blaming Bama’s athletic department for Carters delayed enrollment. I think that it is more important to Saban to want to get everything taken care of the right way, with no questions about it later. It is the players responsibility to have their academics in order, and I am sure when he is cleared to play there will be no lingering issues.
