Former Alabama star Mark Ingram uninjured in collision with 18-wheeler

WAFF reported this morning that former Alabama Crimson Tide star Mark Ingram was involved in an accident with an 18-wheel truck. Ingram was uninjured in the crash that happened after 1 a.m.

According to WAFF, “Both airbags deployed in Ingram’s two-door 2008 Infinity, but Huntsville Police said he was not injured. Officers said his girlfriend was also in the car. She, too, was unharmed.”

Ingram won the Heisman Trophy for Alabama—its first in the long history of Alabama football. Ingram was drafted in the First Round of the NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints.
