The University of Alabama landed coveted offensive tackle prospect Cyrus Kouandjio. His brother Arie announced the decision via twitter and it was immediately reported by Scout.

Via twitter Arie said, “After much consideration, my brother has decided to take his talent to the University of Alabama Looks like my lil bro is going to roll …ROLL TIDE ROLL Cyrus K! Congrats lil bro.”

Report from Scout: The saga is over as Cyrus Kouandjio chooses to take his talents to Alabama over Auburn.

Also Andrew Bone tweeted, “Dematha HS will release an official statement, likely Monday, from Cyrus about his decision to sign with the Crimson Tide.”

No doubt there will be considerable consternation on the Plains. Next time Auburn should stick to recruiting players with pieces of shit for parents like Cecil Newton.

What about that Defensive line haul Bama has? And just look, even MORE 5 star linebackers for Bama. Auburns newest class can’t match that at all. So keep pigeon holing the facts all you want. The truth is, Bama has been laying a solid foundation the past 4 years with top recruiting classes in each one. Even after Auburn lucking into the NC title and losing damn near the whole team, they still can’t get past Bama in recruiting, and in the long run, they won’t be matching Bama in title runs either.

  43. I grew up watching Bama win 1978, 1979, 1992 and 2009 National Championships. Auburn only this one. So, no matter how you do the math 4>1. All of Bear Bryants NCs (6) were legit. Stallings 1 and Saban 1 make 8. And 8 is also better than 1. so, 4, 8, 13, 26 it doesn’t matter. It is more than Auburn has PERIOD. How hard is that to take Aubie man?

  44. Yeah I grew up watching all “8” of Bears NC’s and actually attended 3. Eight because his are the 2 (’66 & ’77)that the NCAA recognizes and that Bama doesn’t claim. I was at the Super Dome for the Ohio St, Penn St and Arkansas Sugar Bowls. Bama should have the only 3peats in history, twice, but old predjudice Notre Dame mestique phucked us out of it both times. Anyway, the 15 or so NC’s aren’t nearly the whole story. The astounding fact is that under Bear alone Bama played for the NC 12 times in 25 years! And in our history we’ve played for it around 30 times. It is an untouchable record. And Awbie? One time – period, last year. I don’t care what you phuckers think. Bama is the only team with a winning record against the whole SEC past and present. Awbie – 20-20-1 against Vandy? ROTFLMFAO! RTR!

There were many plays that went against us in both the LSU and Awbie games. Give us just one back in each game and we would have won both of them. It was the consensus opinion that Bama with one loss and having avenged that loss in the SECCG, would have gone to Glendale ahead of any non-AQ team. And we ended the season as the best team in the country. Not Awbie, not Oregon, not TCU, nor any combination of the 3 could have beaten Bama that day in the Cap 1 Bowl. Like I said before, we were 2 reversed plays away from us being clean NC’s and you ending up being tainted NC’s*. Now you can come back and give your rant against what I just said, but I don’t give a $hit. My opinion is in the majority. Hell, Awbie wasn’t even unanimos NC’s. TCU retained some votes. In ’09 we were unanimos even with Boise St finishing undefeated and in a lot more impressive fashion than TCU did. RTR!

  46. Yeah, the Auburn fans think that the Iron Bowl was the worse loss for Bama, but I think it was the LSU game this past season. If Bama wins that, it changes the mindset of the Iron Bowl going into it. But last season is over, and it wasn’t bad. Not as good as we wanted, but we have been spoiled a little the past few years. Maybe a 3 loss season, and a new found motivation to destroy the school down the road will work in our favor this coming season.

If Bama beats LSU, the winner of the Iron Bowl went to the SEC Championship game, therefore that is why I consider it the biggest loss of the season for Bama.
