A top recruit considering the Alabama Crimson Tide was suspended for two games by the Florida High School Athletic Association. Nick O’Leary, a tight end for Palm Beach Gardens Dwyer in Florida was suspended for an unsportsmanlike act.

According to the report (see story below), “The grandson of Jack Nicklaus — one of the nation’s top football recruits — was suspended for two games by Florida officials for making an obscene gesture toward the stands after a game in Ohio.” Also, “O’Leary gestured as his team was leaving the field. Television cameras captured the act and have replayed it. O’Leary had nine catches for 152 yards in the game with a touchdown. He’s considering Miami, Florida State and Alabama, among other schools.”

  1. The Dwyer team got the short end of the stick. I think Jack needs
to have a come to Jesus moment with the kid and make him
remember who is grandfather was a champion and act like a
champion!! He needs to go to Miami if he keeps on acting like
    a spoiled brat!! RTR
