From the AP: Alabama coach Nick Saban says his kickers won’t use tape to spot field goals and extra points,

South Carolina Steve Spurrier pointed out Leigh Tiffin’s use of the white tape to spot his kicks in last week’s game and reported it to the Southeastern Conference. He said Tiffin quickly put the tape in his pocket after kicking.

Saban says he didn’t know Tiffin was using the tape and says it isn’t worth risking a 5-yard penalty. However, he says Tide coaches have found that more than half of the SEC teams put something such as a piece of grass or mud on the field so the kicker knows where the ball will be spotted.

  1. Sounds like Little Nicky Satan is just mad he and the Crimson TURD got caught CHEATING AGAIN!

  2. But Mommy, they cheated too…… Spurrior asked the SEC office, Sa%an whined to the media…

  3. Indy, how are you going to spin it when your 14-year old coach gets his ass whipped this weekend by the best coach in the business, Nick Saban? I know, you’ll spin it as a “moral victory”, just like all you toothless rednecks in Tenn did when Florida won by “only” 10 points. Never thought I’d see the day when Tennessee football acted like Vanderbilt and championed moral victories.

  4. Don’t you just love how what goes around, comes around. That little tittie baby pussy Spurrier has been f–king with people in the SEC for petty shit like this every since he left Duke for Florida. Now we find out that asshole was doing it too. Yeah, just like the bastard was doing the same things he ratted on us to the NCAA for when he was at Florida! What’s more, Florida used tape to spot their field goals last year in the SECCG. And even though we lost the SECCG to them and by that a shot at the National Championship – the Sabanator didn’t say a word about it. Whiney, whiney Spurrier, the SEC crybaby asshole. RTR!

  5. Indiana Vile,

Have you already thought up the cheating allegations to use against Alabama for the blowout we shall inflict on you Saturday?

Here are a few you can go ahead and jot down:

“ALABAMA WAS PLAYING AT HOME AND PAID THE REF’S.”

“ALABAMA PAID OFF LANE KIFFIN TO WIN THE GAME.”

“GREG MCELROY HAD BLUE TAPE AROUND HIS WRISTS. THE NCAA SAYS QB’S CAN ONLY HAVE WHITE TAPE AROUND THEIR WRISTS.”

“ALABAMA KNEW THEY WOULD’VE LOST IF THEY WOULD HAVE LET US WORN OUR MAGICAL PUKE ORANGE JERSEYS, THEREFORE TECHNICALLY THEY CHEATED BY NOT ALLOWING US TO WEAR THEM.”

  6. Indy.
The thing I like about you is that after this weekend you will be shut up. Aside from that. Everyone here knows you are an Auburn fan posing anyway.

  7. Biggest deal over a 5 yard penalty in history.Blame the refs for not enforcing the rule.I’ve enjoyed seeing all the haters make themselves look less than petty over it tho’

  8. Indy Hoe – that beat down is coming – going to be tough posting after Saturday.
The Old Balls Coach just could not help himself. He just had to play the Fool one more time.

  9. “The thing I like about you is that after this weekend you will be shut up. Aside from that. Everyone here knows you are an Auburn fan posing anyway.”

Yep…then he will be BayouBengal or something

  10. That’s pretty funny what nicky said…”they did it too!!!” I wonder how much longer he’s going to in Alabama before he jumps ship again…he’s had a lot of practice at running out on his players/coaches.

  11. Barry, sorry to hear that!

Who should I send my regards too? LOL LOL LOL LOL

    ROLL TIDE CRIMSON BROTHER’S !!!!!

    21 SOUTHEASTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS

  12. Gee Barry – you need to pass on that Malt Liquor Beer Barrel – buy the good stuff and you will come to your senses.

  13. I guess I should expect some trash-talk…I’ve been an AU fan forever…most of my friends are UA fans. I do have one soft spot in my heart for the Crimson Tide: a couple guys that I know (Trey and Charley Waldrep) are going to Alabama on the Bear Bryant Scholarship…this was a scholarship set up for the children of the guys that played for Bear Bryant…Trey and Charley’s daddy, Kent, never played for Alabama…he played at TCU. He broke his neck in a game vs Alabama in 1974 and has been in a wheelchair ever since. Kent and Bear Bryant became good friends over the the next 8 years, until “The Bear” left this world in 1982…Kent spoke at his funeral.

  14. correction, he died in 1983…..sorry ’bout that…..Auburn beat Alabama in 1982…the last regular season game that Bear Bryant would coach…I went to that game.
