Oversign Saban strikes again and again and again. What about the wide reciever ? Thats at least five. Maybe six. Or is it more ?

But Im sure they are ecstatic about it , right cap ?

I don’t know. Probably. Considering two of those had already earned their degree, and one is on a medical scholarship because of an injury. I’d think I’d be happy not to HAVE to play to continue my education if I were injured.

As for the transfers, those never happen to other programs like Auburn. Right?

Chaz was screwed over. Thats what Chaz was. Plain and simple. I wont sit here and defend someone for doing something that is plainly wrong, unlike some people.

Fanney didnt get his degree , did he ?

If you make a complete list of those that were canned, and show me thier respective degrees, I might change my stance. But as of right now, I cant defend oversigning. Its just not right with your players. IMO.

I think Fanney has decided to apply to the Parmacology school at barn..:)

    oops!…Pharmacology.

Yep. All those players were screwed over and that’s exactly why there are so many reports flooding the media with all of the complaining they’re doing. I really just don’t understand how people can be pissed off on another person’s behalf. If they were cut and done so horribly wrong by Saban and the University where are their complaints? Why aren’t they the ones pissed off? Surely in this day of instant media access we would hear something about them speaking up and telling the world how they were wronged wouldn’t we?

Clay, if you dont think that they are disgruntled , then you are delusional . Why are there not complaints flooding the media ? Some , are on medical scholarship. Some got refered by niktator to another school. All were given something in exchange for thier scholarship. If they bitch about it , they would lose what little they have.

An athletic scholarship is a unique opportunity very few people in life get to enjoy, potentially lifting you from one place in life to another. And, it’s a one-year agreement with the option to renew/accept year after year.

In return, you’re expected to do what is expected of you. Fanney didn’t hold up on his end of the bargain. Therefore, out with the old, in with the new.

Keep creating mountains out of molehills, ballsplay. You’re a fool.

I’d be more worried about Auburn accepting the son from “The Nutty Professor” from FSU earlier this week. Have you seen how soft that guy is? Look up manboobs in the dictionary and there he is staring at you.

    “Hercules, Hercules, Hercules!”

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. An athletic scholarship is a gift for past performance well done, with the expectations and sometimes the requirement of a future performance equal or better. It is not a forever contract without obligations and signed in blood by the issuing party. Just like employment, it is performance oriented. If you or I no longer fit the needs of our employers, then we will become unemployed! The student athlete is no different. Anybody bitching about whats happening at Bama is just jealous of Bama, has sour grapes, or is just plain a dumbass and is minding something that is really none of his business! Especially if he is a Barner since the Barn oversigned more than Bama 2 out of the 3 classes that CNS has been here as have several of the SEC schools! So just STFU! RTR!

Look , I am aware of that. I get it. And for you to call me a fool is just you being defensive because you know deep down inside what Im saying is true. An athletic scholarship is renewed , Like I said , I know that. But are you telling me , that when Nick goes on his infamous recruiting trail he is selling 1 year scholarships ? You are the one thinking like a fool ITK. If Fanney could play like McClain, he would still be there and you know it. It verbal contract. Come play for Alabama and get a four year degree. Anything trying to argue the opposite is delusional. I know that Fanney wasnt the best example, and maybe he needed to go, but its obvious that Nick is clearing the locker room for those who might pan out.

Starts chanting in unison with ITK….

    HERCULES!!

    No seriously guys.
You dont think Trickett may have called Aubie, (I mean Aubrey) Phillips a Fatass?
Or a Lard Butt. or BlubberButt?
If he didnt he should have been fired for coddling.
I heard that Phillips went to Jenny Craig and the woman behind the counter just stuck up her palms and said “no fucking way, I am not the Ann Sullivan for Buffett abusers.”
