AP: NCAA penalizes Alabama Crimson Tide

AP: The NCAA placed Alabama’s football program and 15 other of the school’s athletic teams on three years probation for major violations due to misuse of free textbooks.

The NCAA’s Committee on Infractions said Thursday the football team must forfeit an unspecified number of wins in which any of seven players took part during 2005-2007. The university identified the seven as “intentional wrongdoers.”

The NCAA said that 201 student-athletes in the 16 sports, including men’s basketball, obtained “impermissible benefits” by using their scholarships to obtain free textbooks for other students. It also found the university guilty of “failure to monitor.” (entire AP report embedded below)

Once again, the Crimson Turd proves that cheating is acceptable at the Tuscaloser institution and that NCAA sanctions will do NOTHING to change that.

ONCE A CHEATER, ALWAYS A CHEATER.

It will be a hoot to watch the Crimson Turd vacate victories. The Crimson Turd Nation will still claim these as “wins” using its selective logic.

GO NCAA; DROP THE RAMMER-JAMMER HAMMER ON THE CRIMSON TURD OF ALABAMMER!!!

That is okay, Indiana Vol. Those ass whoopings the last two years still count, just like the one this year will. But don’t worry about us too much, you new coach is a little whiny cheating bastard himself, and he will learn the hard way about what happens when you are all talk and can’t coach a lick. Hopefully he will have TN on probation within the next year or two, while we are still laughing at you hopeless hillbillies.
