The Pensacola News Journal reports Alabama signee Trent Richardson has graduated and enrolled at the University of Alabama. According to the News Journal, “Now on campus and fully qualified academically, Richardson has enrolled in summer classes and is participating in voluntary workouts. At the advice of his brother Terrell — a defensive end at Louisiana-Lafayette — he worked with recruiting adviser and Escambia High track coach Derrick Boyd throughout the spring to make sure he arrived in shape.”

The article is worth reading and contains this analysis from Ricardson’s high school track coach: “I firmly believe that he’s going to be ready to go (as a freshman),” said Boyd, a former high school All-American who played receiver at the University of Virginia. “If he picks up that offense, and he’s pretty sharp when it comes to that, now he can focus on two things: school and football.”

Much more and video too at the News Journal website.

  1. The U. “issued” Trent Richardson a laptop computer without a “Ctrl” button on it….Why? Because Trent Richardson is always in control………Thats why……..

  2. Superman he arrivath and thein enemies they trembleth! LOL! Hey Ballplay what the hell’s up with you? Lately your remarks about Bama have been extremely caustic. Just yesterday you said you hate everything about Bama and you wish they would die. So what’s with this Richardson post? Are you some kind of closet Tider? Do you have a Roll Tide Roll screen saver? Do you dress in Crimson and White jammies when you go to bed? What’s up dude?

  3. I have a sense of humor man…..Plus< understand there are things (few) more important than football…..

Plus Ive been doing the whole Richardsom / Chuck Norris thing for a while now….

  4. I thought it was sarcastic BI like in control of his whole CRUITIN experience

  5. I am sorry guys. I know some of you aubs really took a kick tot he teeth when Julio turned out to be solid contributor. I have to aplogize in advance for Richardson. He should be the rookie of the year in the SEC this year. The kid managed to rum like a deer his senior year of high school with practicly no blocking or passing game to support him. And as an added bonus he showed up in Tuscaloosa in better shape than most of the Auburn Tiger Seniors.

  6. Julio conrtibuted…much more than I thought he would. Ingram as well. Hightower did good. Yall got a good class. enjoy.
