The Auburn Tigers have astounded naysayers by snagging the 40th spot in the updated recruiting rankings. Alabama trails the Tigers significantly; the Crimson Tide currently ranks second in Scout’s rankings.

What you’ve got to understand is that the Barn recruits “quality” individuals that have character and high morals. Kinda like Trey Blackmon.
Blackman was a role model compared to Nico J.
Auburn is truley on thier way.
BTW I was reading Jon Solomon’s blog at al.com just a little bit ago and it blew me away. There is a veritable cornucopia of information and allegetion there.

Is it February? Recruiting is not over, plus nothing Auburn (Florida, Georgia, UT) does will stop Alabama recruiting. Alabama has done great, but why bash Auburn? If we are so great why the constant never ending bashing of Auburn on this web-site? We should just ignore them…. It makes Bama fans look scared or concerned about Auburn… All Auburn, All the time…
Umm, only someone who doesn’t read any media would see this as bashing Auburn. This is more commentary on the way the media has covered recruiting over the last three months.
I kind of figured that was obvious.
Why bash Auburn? See: the streak, and the subsequent classless behavior by our barn dwelling friends across the state while we had our hands tied behind our backs with probation and stupid coaching hires.
That’s why we bash Auburn. They suck, hired a 5-19 loser to face off against one of the greatest recruiters and game day coaches of the day, and will subsequently take it up the rectum the last weekend in November for the forseeable future.

According to Scout.com,Alabama has 14 commitments. However, everywhere else I have read has Alabama at 13. I read Andrew Bone’s recruiting report in the Tuscaloosa News and think he is one of the best in the business. However, did he miss something here or am I missing something?
I was thinking the same thing. 2 weeks ago scout had us at 12, but we’ve commited the 2 – 5 stars since and that would be 14. Maybe they’re counting Phelon Jones since he can’t play until 2010. I already ripped bamafan a new one for his dumbass comments yesterday. I think he bleeds orange and blue. If he wants humanitarian treatment for the Barn he needs to discuss them in church – not on this blog. Maybe he can do some mission work over in the East Alabama Bush. Get em to repent for all the damnedable lies they spread about us! RTR!
Two players are JuCo transfers, Bolton being one, Kerry Murphy will be the other. Technically, they counted against the original signing class and will not count for this year’s class.

We didnt put you guys on probation(u did) and I am sure we beat you guys in the IB when you were not on probation. Was Auburn’s hands not tied in last years IB by dumb decicions and constant arguing by coaches? I mean IMHO neither Auburn OR Bama have anything to brag about.
Ballplay, you must have your names confused, Blackmon was arrested after running through the woods from the cops for a dui and then twice more. Nico appeared in court for verbal harassment and was found not guilty, he was not arrested, yeah he sounds like a role model compared to Nico. However, it should be illegal for what he is going to do to Aub’s pitiful offense this year.
For the record, I’ve been posting comments here for over a year now. Now I see there’s a poster that calls himself bamafan(lower case “b”). Do not confuse us. By the way, strange how this poster “bamafan” continually posts negative comments about the U of A. He’s not fooling anyone.
