The AJC is reporting Nick Saban wants one of the top Georgia prospects to play tight end at Alabama. Brian Vogler will visit Alabama this weekend, and the recruit is impressed with the Alabama Crimson Tide coach.

According to the report, “The 6-foot-7, 240-pound junior said he had a great conversation with Alabama coach Nick Saban. ‘He’s just been real straight forward with me,’ he said…Vogler has around 10 offers, including LSU, Tennessee, Alabama, Stanford, Kentucky, Duke, Maryland and Clemson. He said his “dream school” is Florida. Volger thinks UGA and Florida are waiting to see what happens with tight end Orson Charles of Tampa, one of the nation’s top unsigned seniors, before deciding on offering him.”

Vogler has played in the Wing-T formation, and plays basketball for his high school. Want to see video of the recruit? Rivals provides this video of Vogler at Florida’s Friday Night Lights Camp.
