Last time I talked about a Talladega race, I was complaining how Dale Jr. fans at Talladega made Alabama look bad by throwing beers at Jeff Gordon.
After the Georgia loss, the students throwing drinks on the Bulldog players made Talladega fans look bad. I guess I should apologize.
OK, maybe not.
I’m pulling for Jeff Gordon to win again just to make those guys angry. Plus I like Gordon’s attitude—he’s a clean guy in a sport dominated by questionable figures. It is refreshing to see him always doing well. Can he win the Fall race and make it a Talladega sweep for the year? Here’s a preview if you care about the race:
