Nice feature story on Bowden’s life in Birmingham, and the biggest what-if in sports. What if Alabama’s idiot president had hired Bowden instead of the buffoon Bill Curry (oops, I shouldn’t insult buffoons by comparing them to Curry.) BTW, Joab Thomas was a complete and utter jackass.
