I’ve resolved not to talk (or write) about Alabama basketball, but that doesn’t mean we can’t post a link to a very interesting story involving the SEC.
This story raises lots of questions about women’s athletics, and the role of coaches in the lives of young women. If this happened at LSU, who is naive enough to believe it isn’t happening at some high school, even a high school right here in Alabama? Of course, the same could be said about male coaches who also have exploited their unique position. However, the salacious nature of this story could bring new, and needed attention, to sexual misconduct in sports.
