David Platt, Evangelical Elites make war with China inevitable

America’s Betrayal of Afghanistan began with David Platt & Evangelical Elites helping elect Joe Biden.

“For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind.” –Hosea 8:7

“For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” Galatians 6:8

Joe Biden, our nitwit of a President, was elected with the aid of Evangelical Elites like David Platt. Platt infamously wrote a book on voting that legitimized the concept that Christians could vote for pro-abortion, anti-Christian Democrats.

Platt argued just prior to the November 2020 election, “Yes, abortion is abhorrent. That’s clear in the Bible (which we’ll see in a moment). But is that the only issue at stake in an election? What about the scores of Christians, including overwhelming percentages of African-American Christians, who consistently vote for Democrats because of the party’s record on other issues that they also deem biblically important? Can you really conclude that they lack faith in Jesus and are on a road that leads to everlasting suffering because of how they weigh those other issues? Will you really exclude them from the church because they voted for a Democrat?”

In other words, Platt justified a Christian voting for pro-abortion politicians. How many votes did David Platt sway in battleground states? Why does Platt avoid telling Christians the truth that it is almost always sinful to vote for a Democrat?

Platt was not alone among Evangelical Elites in working to suppress Christian support for President Donald Trump. Beth Moore was a radical working to suppress Christian women voters from honoring God with their vote—her work directly aided the election of Democrats. Even the progressive Slate praised Beth Moore.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but Evangelical Elites who campaigned against Donald Trump are directly responsible for helping elect the idiot Joe Biden as President.

And of course, David Platt and other Radical Evangelical Elites use the disastrous policy in Afghanistan to fundraise.

Never let a chance to grift money pass—is apparently, the creed of elites like David Platt.

The Afghanistan Folly

There are good arguments for pulling out of Afghanistan. Some Realist scholars believe Afghanistan to be a strategic backwater with no significant geopolitical importance. They believe American power is better sustained by ceasing foolish and expensive efforts at nation building.

However, there are no good arguments for leaving Afghanistan as Joe Biden just did. As Ben Shapiro joked, Biden made this insane decision to abandon Afghanistan between episodes of Matlock while eating his Cream of Wheat and did so with an almost criminal inattention to the details. Details like getting American citizens out of the country before pulling the rug out from under the Afghan military.

There were also good arguments for a continued American involvement in Afghanistan—if for no other reason to deny China and Russia access to the country’s immense rare earth elements that will now enrich and grow China’s global power. For an excellent examination of that, Michael O’Fallon of Sovereign Nations explains China’s game in Afghanistan.

America won the war in Afghanistan but lost the peace. It lost the peace because of structural problems in American foreign policy and political philosophy. America refused to consider the historical and cultural limitations. It insisted on democracy when perhaps monarchy offered a better option.

Also, America attempted to export idiotic notions of gender ideology to Afghanistan.

It is hard not to see the Afghanistan repudiation of gender ideology as like the Iranian people’s repudiation of western sexual ideology prior to its Islamic Revolution.

Put simply, some people in this world reject the Sexual Revolution and prefer instead traditional values.

This proves it is dangerous to conduct ideologically driven foreign policy—instead, we must base foreign policy on reality.

Elections have consequences & Evangelical Elites made the world more dangerous

The bottom line is that elections matter. Or we might put it as Barack Obama said, Elections have consequences.

The consequences of Evangelical Elites helping elect Joe Biden is to bring war with China closer. China wasted no time in exploiting Biden’s folly.

As one Chinese state media outlet put it, “Some historians also point out that abandoning allies to protect US interests is an inherent flaw that has been deeply rooted in the US since the founding of the country…How Washington abandoned the Kabul regime particularly shocked some in Asia, including the island of Taiwan. Taiwan is the region that relies on the protection of the US the most in Asia, and the island’s Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) authorities have made Taiwan go further and further down this abnormal path. The situation in Afghanistan suddenly saw a radical change after the country was abandoned by the US. And Washington just left despite the worsening situation in Kabul. Is this some kind of omen of Taiwan’s future fate?”

China wants to use the Biden Afghanistan debacle to undermine confidence in the US among important regional allies.

However, China is not simply spinning a political story. China is preparing for action.

According to one story, China converted a ferry “for military assault operations” that would be useful in an attack on Taiwan.

Ultimately, Joe Biden’s incompetence shows America is weak.

And what does history show happens when a power shows weakness? Munich is but one example. An unwillingness to confront Soviet usurpations in Central Europe following the defeat of Germany caused the Iron Curtain and a Cold War.

And this American weakness is caused by Joe Biden and aided by the political theology of Evangelical Elites.

Doubt America is weaker today than when Donald Trump was president?

This is contemporary America:
