ALABAMA-MISSISSIPPI SERIES

MISSISSIPPI SERIES: With the win, Alabama leads the Mississippi series 45-9-2 (49-8-2 before NCAA rulings) with eight straight wins and 25 of the last 27 games dating back to the 1977 season. Alabama has won its last three trips to Oxford Nick Saban is 8-1 in his career against the Rebels, including a 4-0 mark at Alabama. Mississippi head coach Houston Nutt is 5-8 in his career against Alabama, including a 5-5 record as head coach at Arkansas from 1998-2007.

SABAN VS. MISSISSIPPI: Alabama head coach Nick Saban owns a 8-1 record (9-1 before the vacated win in 2007) in his career against Mississippi. He is 4-0 at Alabama and also posted a 4-1 record against Mississippi while at LSU from 2000-04. His lone loss to the Rebels came on Oct. 27, 2001, as Mississippi posted a 35-24 win in Baton Rouge.

WINNING BIG: Alabama has won its last eight games by 16 or more points dating back to last season’s Capital One Bowl victory over Michigan State. That eight-game streak is tied for the longest such mark in the modern era of Crimson Tide football (since 1950). During the current streak, the Tide has beaten the No. 7 Spartans by 42 (49-7), Kent State by 41 (48-7), No. 23 Penn State by 16 (27-11), North Texas by 41 (41-0), No. 14 Arkansas by 24 (28-14), No. 12 Florida by 28 (38-10), Vanderbilt by 34 (34-0) and Mississippi (52-7). The other longest streak in school history was an eight-game stretch that includes the final six games of the 1977 season and the first two games of the 1978 campaign. During the 1977-78 streak of eight games UA defeated Louisville by 49(55-6), Mississippi State by 30 (37-7), LSU by 21 (24-3), Miami by 36 (36-0), Auburn by 27 (48-21), Ohio State by 29 (35-6), Nebraska by 17 (20-3) and Missouri by 18 (38-20). That streak was snapped by a loss to Southern California (14-24). Alabama also had a seven-game streak of wins by 16 or more points during the 1971 season and streaks of six games in 1961 and 1975.

5 games – 1962; 1962-63; 1964; 1978; 1980

14 POINTS OR LESS: Alabama has not allowed an opponent to score more than 14 points during the first six games of the 2011 season and eight straight games dating back to the 2011 Capital One Bowl against Michigan State. The 2011 Crimson Tide defense leads the nation in scoring defense, surrendering an average of just seven points per game while recording two shutouts (41-0 vs. North Texas and 34-0 over Vanderbilt). The last time Alabama held its opponent to 14 points or less for at least seven straight games was 1992 when the Tide did it nine straight times to open the season. The school record for consecutive games holding an opponent to 14 points or less is 31 from 1960-63. The Crimson Tide did it in the last three games of the 1960 season and all 11 games of the 1961 and 1962 campaigns before the streak ended in the seventh game of the 1963 season when Mississippi State scored 19 in a 20-19 UA win.

Consecutive games allowing 14 points or less
31 games – 1960-63
18 games – 1965-66
14 games – 1963-64 & 1975-76
13 games – 1959-60
10 games – 1958
9 games – 1968 & 1992
8 games – 1974

ALABAMA UNDER SABAN IN OCTOBER: Alabama has been very successful in the second month of the season under head coach Nick Saban. Now in his fifth season at Alabama, the Crimson Tide sports a 16-1 record in October. Over that span the Crimson Tide has outscored its opponents 462-215 and is 5-1 against ranked opponents. The only October loss under Saban was at No. 19 South Carolina on Oct. 9, 2010. The loss against the Gamecocks broke an 11-game winning streak. Alabama has won its last five games in October since that loss.

TIDE 45-3 UNDER SABAN WHEN LEADING AT THE HALF: Alabama led Mississippi at halftime, 17-7 and once again earned the win. The Crimson Tide is 45-3 when leading at halftime under head coach Nick Saban.

DEFENSE
STOUT DEFENSE: The Alabama defense turned in another strong defensive effort in the win over Mississippi. The Crimson Tide held the Rebels to 141 total yards (28 rushing, 113 passing) on Saturday night. In Saban’s 61-game tenure at Alabama, the Crimson Tide has limited the opposition to less than 300 yards of total offense 36 times, or 59 percent of the time. The Tide has not allowed more than 251 yards (Penn State) in a single game this season and has limited the opponent to less than 200 yards four times (Kent State – 90 yards; North Texas – 169 yards; Vanderbilt – 190 yards; Mississippi – 141 yards).

10 POINTS OR LESS: Alabama held Mississippi to 7 points on Saturday night. Under Saban, the Crimson Tide has held opponents to 10 points or less 29 times, including five times in seven games this season. Last season Alabama held opponents to 10 points or less eight times and limited opponents to that mark seven times in 2009 and 2008. In 2007, the Tide posted two games in which it held opponents to that mark. Since 2007, Alabama has held opponents to 10 points or less 28 times and less than a touchdown 13 times.

GAMES WITH AN INTERCEPTION: Alabama has recorded at least one interception in six of its seven games this season. The only game the Tide did not record a pickoff was against North Texas (Sept. 17). Alabama recorded an interception in 11 of the 13 games in 2010, putting together a run of 17 games with a pick in its last 20 outings. Seven different Tide players have tallied an interception in 2011, with Dee Milliner leading the way with two.

FIRST HALF DEFENSE: Alabama has allowed seven points or less in 11 of its last 12 first halves of play. Over that span the Crimson Tide has surrendered just three points or less on seven occasions, including four shutouts. UA had a streak of nine straight games before allowing 10 points in the first half to Florida.

NOWHERE TO RUN: Alabama held Mississippi to 28 rushing yards on 31 carries in the victory on Saturday night. In head coach Nick Saban’s 61-game tenure at Alabama, the Crimson Tide has limited the opposition to less than 100 rushing yards 38 times, or 62.3 percent of the time. The 28 yards on the ground by Mississippi marks the sixth time in seven games this season that the opposition has been held under 100 yards.

OFFENSE
ALABAMA SCORING OUTPUT: With the 52 points scored at Mississippi on Saturday night it marked the most points scored in a Southeastern Conference game since 1990. The Crimson Tide downed Vanderbilt, 59-28, on Sept. 29, 1990.

151 PASSES WITHOUT AN INT: Alabama sophomore quarterback AJ McCarron has reeled off 151 consecutive passes without throwing an interception. It is the third-longest streak in school history. He has gone six straight games without a pick. Brodie Croyle holds the school record of 190 consecutive passes without an interception with Jay Barker (155) second. McCarron passed Greg McElroy’s mark of 149 straight passes without an interception.

RICHARDSON SETS CAREER HIGHS: Alabama junior running back Trent Richardson had a career night against Mississippi. Richardson set career highs in yardage (183), touchdowns (4) and also had the longest rush of his career (76). Richardson became the first Tide player since Shaun Alexander (LSU, Nov. 9, 1996) to rush for four touchdowns in a game.

– Rushed for a career-high 183 yards
– Rushed for a career-high four touchdowns
– Set a career-high with a 76-yard touchdown run
– Sports the longest streak of consecutive 100 yard rushing games in the country (6)
– His six straight 100-yard rushing games tie for the most in school history (Shaun Alexander, 1999)
– Has rushed for over 100 yards 10 times
– Alabama is 10-0 when he rushes for over 100 yards
– Alabama is 9-0 when he records 15 or more rushes
– Ranks 10th in the Alabama career annals with 2,363 rushing yards

RICHARDSON ON RECORD PACE: Alabama junior running back Trent Richardson has been scoring touchdowns at an alarming rate to start the 2011 season, and he continued that trend Saturday night with a memorable performance against Mississippi.

*In seven games this season, Richardson has found the end zone 15 times. He has scored three or more rushing touchdowns in four games, scoring four against Mississippi and three against Kent State and North Texas.

*Richardson has scored at least two touchdowns in five of Alabama’s seven games this season.

*Richardson now has 29 rushing touchdowns in his career at Alabama and has scored 35 touchdowns overall (29 rush, 5 receiving, 1 kickoff return).

*The 35 touchdowns rank Richardson fifth in Alabama history. Shaun Alexander (1996-99) holds the Alabama record for career touchdowns scored with 50.

*The 29 rushing touchdowns rank Richardson in a tie for fifth in Alabama history with Tony Nathan (1975-78). Mark Ingram (2008-10) is the Alabama record holder for rushing touchdowns in a career with 42.

*Richardson has scored a touchdown in eight consecutive games overall dating back to the 2011 Capital One Bowl against Michigan State.

100-YARD RUSHERS AND RECEIVERS: Thirty-three times in 31 different games Alabama has had rushers exceed 100 yards and the Tide has had 15 100-yard receivers in 15 games since head coach Nick Saban arrived in Tuscaloosa. Former running back Mark Ingram recorded 12 100-yard rushing games during his career, while junior Trent Richardson has 10 100-yard rushing efforts and sophomore Eddie Lacy has produced two. Under Saban, Alabama has gone 30-1 in those 31 games that produced a 100-yard rusher. Marquis Maze (1) and Trent Richardson (1) are the only current players with 100-yard receiving games.

  1. Phucking Barnturds are the luckiest motherphuckers in the history of college football. They suck everywhere. But damn Florida has the most pathetic wounded offense I’ve ever seen. RTR!

    1. And again Crimsonite proves he is the most foul mouthed, inbred redneck fan of Alabama there is.

Question for other Bama fans that post on here, does this represent you and your fan base? Is he a typical Alabama fan? Does he make you proud when you see a typical post from him like this one?

Would you be proud to have your daughters date or marry someone like him?

      1. Lighten up Flash.
Last I checked Crimsonnite was coming to a bama blog to post about Bama football. Sure he might have commented about the AU-UF game but he is a card carrying member of the Bama Nation. So whatever he says here is welcomed.
And as long as he is a good Parent, partner and provider and made my daughter happy. I ‘m cool. Seriously Flash. Its pretty easy to point and claim superiority. But I am pretty sure there are a few things you did back in the day that you are not very proud of. Even a dickhead like Charles Manson will tell you he is basically a good guy.
As Rodney King would say:: “Cant we all just get along”
Or as Bobby Lowder would say “cant we all just get a loan?”

        1. Almightyr you say “Last I checked Crimsonnite was coming to a bama blog to post about Bama football.” So what does that have to do with his foul mouth Almightytmc?!

He is the one you need to tell to lighten up, before he ends up a cell mate with Harvey Updyke! If anyone comes to this public site and post anything that he doesn’t agree with he begins cursing them and calling them vile names.

It is hard for me to believe based on the consistency of his vile post on here, that he is a completely different person when he is not on here. And if that’s true, I don’t know how you could consider him a good parent, and I know I surely wouldn’t want him any where around my daughter!

And I am confused as to what you mean by your statement “Even a dickhead like Charles Manson will tell you he is basically a good guy”, but if Charles Manson told me that today I would believe him as much as I believe Crimsonite is a nice guy! So I guess inadvertantly you were kind of confirming my post.

          1. And there you go. None of us are the same person away from what we type here. This is our place to come and be boys. Away from the boss, the wife, the kids. and all of that. We may get to each other’s throats from time to time, But in reality we are all still neighbors, colleagues and friends. I am trying to NOT attach too much personal significance to one day a year. I am a Bama fan, birth to death. I am also a LSU fan to a lesser extent. And even an SEC fan. And I dont always agree with every one of my brethren on this site. But I appreciate them for the fresh perspective they bring to the forum. I even miss ballplay and Julio. Why? Cause they were never boring, (I guess). LOL~~~~!!!!!!!
Anyway what I am trying to say is that if everyone had the same ideas, the same dialect(?) and the same personalitiy this would be a boring place to be. (Or Al.com).

  2. mandy, tammy.

the games are over and flash here is looking for mates for his cows/daughters.

    flash, try matemyheifer.com.

you might not be so disappointed there.

    RTR!

    1. The fact that you know that website in order to recommend it to other people, says everthing anybody needs to know about you Finebammer!

    1. When these types of post are the most intelligent responses you can make to my post, I know the truth is getting to you and it is making me LMAO!

  3. BAMA blows out Florida in the Swamp and they call Florida overrated. Moo U squeaks by Florida at home and the Cow College is AUsome once again… Now thats funny… LOL

      1. I will be rooting for LSU this week, Flash. I hope LSU beats the hell out of Auburn. I just hope y’all leave us some for the Iron Bowl. But until the 5th, lets just say LSU and Bama are the best two teams in the country right now. I still think Bama can win by 3 scores, though. Sorry if that offends you.

        1. Of course you rooting for LSU this week Brando! That would be a bammers worst nightmare, to have Auburn beat LSU and then LSU turn around and beat LSU!

And just so you know your comment stating that you think Bama can win by 3 scores does not offend me. People say stuppid things all the time, it would be useless to be offended every time they did.

Maybe you intelligently can answer this for me, if Alabama, with two of its best teams in years, the 10-2 team in 2008 and the 13-0 team in 2009 couldn’t beat Miles’s two worst teams those years by 3 scores, what in your wildest imagination makes you think they can beat one of Miles’ best LSU teams by 3 scores?

          1. Your comment was pretty stupid there. It doesn’t even make sense.

But what does last year have to do with anything? Auburn beat you guys last season, so it it a safe bet to think Auburn will win Saturday, also? That is where your logic is flawed. You can’t say that Alabama hasn’t done everything asked of them this season. I mean, come on… they are averaging beating everyone by 32 points this season. No one has scored much beyond the first quarter. Not last season, or 2009, but RIGHT NOW. Talk about the schedule all you want. But 7 games into the season, statistically, and consistently, Bama has a better offense, and a better defense. You want to talk about Oregon, well, Arkansas is ranked about right there even with them. Penn State has a better record than West Virginia also, and has only the loss to Bama.

What makes me think that Bama can win by 3 scores? They have been doing it all season, no matter who the competition is. They beat Arkansas about as soundly as the did anyone else on the schedule so far. Plus, Bama hasn’t been making many mistakes with turnovers and such. LSU has lived off of capitalizing on their opponents mistakes. In my opinion, in each and every game so far this season, Bama has completely dominated, has shown the quality of their depth chart, and is getting better every week. LSU will be a tough game, no doubt. But I don’t think LSU will score more than 2 touchdowns on Bama’s defense. You think I am crazy? I am just going by what I have seen THIS season. Last year, 2009, 2008, none of that factors in this season, as much as you are trying to make it so.

But I tell you what. If LSU wins the game, I will pull for them to win it all. I don’t hate LSU, I actually like LSU when they are not playing Bama. Can you say the same? No, you can’t, because your Saban hate and Miles worshipping has already been exposed. You are biased and confused, and obviously you haven’t noticed this Bama team is for real this year.

          2. Brando first of all let me say thank you for the first somewhat intelligent and reasoned response I’ve gotten on this site.

But you are right and wrong in some of your comments and assumptions used.

Yes my comment “That it would be a bammers worst nightmare, to have Auburn beat LSU and then LSU turn around and beat LSU!” does not make sense. Of course I meant to say… to have Auburn beat LSU and then LSU turn around and beat Alabama! I know you were smart enough to figure out what I meant, but hey I will give you that one because it was my mistake.

But you are wrong if you think last year, or recent history has nothing to do with “anything”! History, especially recent history, has a lot to do with how the professionals set point spreads for games. And although they are not always 100% right they are right or lets say reasonably accurate at predicting point spreads of games correctly a lot more often than they are wrong.

You say “Auburn beat you guys last season, so it it a safe bet to think Auburn will win Saturday, also?”. NO, that is your stupid statement not mine. I never said what happened last year with Alabama would happen this year. What I said was that two of Nick Saban’s and Alabama’s best team ever could not beat two of Les Miles’ worst teams at LSU by 3 scores, so it makes no sense, based on that history, that they could beat one of Miles’ and LSU’s best teams ever by 3 scores. That doesn’t have anything to do with last year. And besides Auburn did beat both of us last year, but LSU and Miles had beaten them the three previous years.

And you are right, I can’t say “Alabama hasn’t done everything asked of them this season”. I can’t say that because I have no idea what’s been asked of them. That’s kind of a stupid statement and doesn’t have anything logical to do with the issue being debated. As does your next statement “I mean, come on… they are averaging beating everyone by 32 points this season”, well LSU is beating everyone by 27 points this season. Albama is averaging 39.7 points per game and LSU is averging 38.4 points per game. You can’t consider what Alabama is winning by and just ignore what LSU is winning by, despite what you want to say about the schedule differences.

I do agree with you that when discussing schedules Oregon and Arkansas are about even, however, LSU did beat Oregon at a neutral site and not at home where Alabama beat Arkansas. With regards to your comment that Penn State, has a better record than West Virginia, while technically true, it is a purposely misleading statement in that West Virgina was off last week and has played one less game than Penn State. I will let the fact that before last weekend, when both teams had a 5-1 record, West Virgina was ranked in the top 15 in the polls and Penn State was only ranked in one poll and that was at 25th.

You then basically repeat yourself when you say “What makes me think that Bama can win by 3 scores? They have been doing it all season, no matter who the competition is. They beat Arkansas about as soundly as the did anyone else on the schedule so far”. Well you can say the same thing about LSU, they beat Oregon “as soundly as the did anyone else on the schedule so far”. So your statement doesn’t carry any weight as to why Alabama will beat LSU by 3 scores.

Your next statement shows your biased and unwillingness to give LSU credit despite your claim to the contrary. You say “LSU has lived off of capitalizing on their opponents mistakes”. I would say that most of what you are talking about were not mistakes by our opponents but rather superior plays by our defense. I mean Mathieu’s plays against WV and Kentucky were superior plays and not mistakes made by the opponent, as was Claiborne’s interception and return against Tennessee, just to name a few. But you are correct we have capitalized on those superior defensive plays once we got the ball.

You also say that in your opinion “in each and every game so far this season, Bama has completely dominated, has shown the quality of their depth chart, and is getting better every week”. Well to be fair you could say the same thing about LSU, so again that statement carries no weight.

So again you haven’t answered the question or presented any facts to support how Alabama is going to beat one of LSU’s best teams under Miles by 3 scores, If Alabama’s best teams under Saban couldn’t beat LSU’s worst teams under Miles by 3 scores.

And your last statement is both right and wrong.

You are right, of course I am biased, that is part of being a fan, but I am not biased to the point of being stupid or blind, and go around making ignorant arrogant statements or predictions about my team.

You are wrong because I have noticed this Bama team is very good and is for real. See I have never posted anything to the contrary on here (go look at everyone of my post if you don’t believe me). And unlike you, and others, I have not once claimed on here that LSU is definitely going to win the game, much less a stupid prediction like they were going to win by 3 scores. Alabama is a very talented team (they have to be they have the NO. 1 recruiting classes 3 out of the last 4 years, right?), that is very well coached (Again they have to be because they have the best coach in the history of college football, right?) and the professionals have made them an early 6 point favorite to win the game at home (I guess you will claim that is Three safeties and your statement is correct, right Brando?)

The differece is I don’t believe, and the evidence supports me, that LSU doesn’t have a chance or that we will get beat by three scores. I also don’t believe, and again the evidence and facts support me, that Miles is “retarted” or “mentally challanged” as claimed on here. I believe he is capable of beating Saban and a more talented Alabama team again this year, because he has done it before.

          3. The fact that you wrote a novella doesn’t prove me wrong. The fact is, you are talking about 2 other entirely different teams that absolutely have no bearing on this years team, long winded response or not. The coaches don’t actually play the game, and some of the coaches aren’t even at the programs anymore. I never said Miles was ‘retorted’. That was your word not mine. I think he just says a lot of off-the wall things and is a little eccentric.

But to expand my point: Bama leads LSU in every defensive category, defensively and offensively. The home field ‘edge’ as you call it doesn’t really mean much. If you go by the past history, as you are wanting to do, Bama has a better record against Auburn at Jordan-Hare than they do at home. Same for LSU, so does that give LSU the edge there?

But there is NO EVIDENCE whatsoever that says LSU absolutely won’t get beat by three scores. If you believe that, you are crazy. No one knows the outcome. I think what I think, and I have a pretty good reason to feel that way, based on the way Bama is playing. If LSU gives up a lot of yardage to Bama like they have everyone else, Bama tends to finish drives, and has a lot of explosive plays, so Bama could win. I think it is likely that Bama’s defense can clamp down on LSU’s offense. While your defense is pretty good, the offense isn’t all that. I think Bama has a more complete team than LSU at this point.

So, don’t get your feelings hurt. I think both teams are pretty good. Bama is just a little bit better this year.

          4. Brando,
Again facts don’t support your opinions and comments.

You say “But to expand my point: Bama leads LSU in every defensive category, defensively and offensively” and “Bama tends to finish drives”
and that LSU’s “offense isn’t all that”. Well the facts say LSU is ranked 8th in the nation in RedZone scoring at 96.43% while Alabama, which you say tends to finish drives, is only ranked 26th in the nation at 88.24%. Also LSU’s starting quarterback still has a better qb rating than McCarron.

So while you were wrong in saying Bama leads LSU in every category defensive and offensively, you are right in saying “there is NO EVIDENCE whatsoever that says LSU absolutely won’t get beat by three scores” but there is ALSO NO EVIDENCE that says they will get beat by three scores, but there is pleanty of past history and current facts that indicates they more than likely they will not.

And I will use your own words as further evidence. You say in your last sentence that you “think both teams are pretty good. Bama is just a little bit better this year. Well three scores is a lot more than “just a litte bit better”. Why don’t you claify for me and the rest of us, now instead of changing what you are saying later in case it is a close game or for heaven’s sake LSU were to win, when you say three scores are you talking three touchdowns, or are you claiming Alabama is only three field goals better, now that you know the facts that Alabama isn’t as good in the redzone as LSU?

I kept this response since obviously, based on your whining, you must have a short attention span.

          5. Alabama just looks better than LSU, in my opinion. Bama may not win by three scores. I don’t care if they win by 1 point. But I think they will win. If they shut down LSU’s offense, which is entirely possible, they probably will win by three scores. UTs running back averaged nearly 4 yards per carry on LSU. I think Bama has several backs that can beat that production. If that is the case, it will be a long day for LSU. Bama does have a better offense. Better offensive line, and running backs. LSU may have a slight edge at QB, and advantage at receiver. Bama has the better defense. Bama is more physical, and has speed across the board as well as size. LSU can match up in a few areas, but not all. Bama is just overall a more dominating team so far.

And three scores, man, you don’t know what that means? 17-21 points. And I thought you said you were smart. This is the best team Saban has had so far in his career. It is going to be the game of the year in the SEC. But I have seen nothing on the field this year that says LSU is guaranteed to beat Bama, just because you think Miles is just that good. That is your biased opinion. I have the right to have mine also. I have as much of a chance being right as you do. So stop with all your ‘sources’ opinions. For every ‘expert’ that says LSU is better, there is another ‘expert’ that think Bama is. You just choose to ignore the rest and focus on pro-LSU opinions. I could give a shit less, I know what I see for myself. And I have watched both teams thoroughly. Have you?

          6. BamaBrando says “Alabama just looks better than LSU, in my opinion.”

Well you know what they say Brando, opinions are like assholes, everybodys got one and Alabama has thousands of them. LOL just a joke I heard, so I thougt I would pass it along to you Brando. Hey if you can’t laugh at yourself, or in this case your own fan base who can you laugh at?

And Brando I know what three scores meant I just wanted you to say it, since you hadn’t yet, and didn’t want you to come crawfishing on here after the game. So thanks for putting in writhing what you have been meaning by Bama winning by three scores so that it is clear to everyone else.

And I have never said LSU was going to win the game much less guarnteed a win like you have. I believe Bama will be the favored team to win, mainly because of where it is being played, but I do think think it will be closer than YOU and most people think, and LSU has a team and coach that could possibly upset Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

Just for fun I did go look up a couple of other stats for you. Last year Alabama was scoring 34.6 points per game and LSU was scoring 28.1 points per game. Alabama was averaging 435.6 yards per game while LSU was only averaging 332.6 yards per game. Alabama’s defense was only giving up 14.1 points per game while LSU was giving up 17.8 points per game. Last Year’s Final Score LSU-24 Alabama-21. Just saying stats are pretty similar to last year.

  4. Oh, you noticed that too? About like LSWho getting kudos for edging by pathetic Miss St, but we stomped a 6-1 Penn St who is considered lousy and hasn’t played anybody. You know everybody can think what they want.I personally don’t give a shyt what anybody’s opinion is. But last year Bama seemed to be ESPN’s darling and everybody picked us to win it all. This year the team is light years better than last year. Maybe the best team of all time, and all we get a lot of shyt from them. Yes LSU is good, but I’ve watched them closely and only an idiot would consider them better than Bama – especially on defense, it seems like they have tried to stab us in back at every opportunity. For Christ’s sake – edging Miss St is better than stomping Penn St in Happy Valley. Phucking morons! RTR!

  5. It s now Tennessee week. Buy your cigars, practice Rammer-Jammer, hate Viles and be happy that Indiana Vile probably won’t show up. Barn trash will probably continue to show up until November 26th and possibly after since God loves them more than he loves their opponents. I just wonder did he love Clemson and Arkansas more on those days and if so why.

    1. Yeah… I’am kinda peeved that God likes auburn more than us. I suck at athiesm and more so as an agnostic. Buddhaism anyone?

“YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME…” John McEnroe

    Shocker.

Cecil Newton, the father of Cam Newton, admitted to the NCAA that he solicited $180,000 for his son to play at Mississippi State. And the NCAA found no wrongdoing. Before last year’s Auburn game with Georgia, Auburn declared Cam Newton ineligible and then the NCAA declared him eligible – ALL WITHIN 24 HOURS. Hmm…

Summer 2011, 4 ex Auburn football players appeared on HBO’s “Real Sports” with Bryant Gumbel and admitted they were paid for coming to Auburn and paid while they were there. One saying that he was paid directly by an Auburn Coach. And the NCAA found no wrongdoing. Hmm…

No less than 5 freshman players currently at Auburn posted Facebook pictures with $10,000 IN THEIR MOUTHS (huh?) after committing to Auburn. The high school coach of 1 of those players, Trovon Reed, Louisiana’s State player of the year, reported this to the NCAA and was interviewed by them and, say it with me, the NCAA found no wrongdoing. The other 4 players posted pictures on their Facebook pages with pictures of new Corvettes, new Camaros, guns, new iphones and of course, money. Accompanying these pictures were quotes such as “Got my new Camaro!!” and the NCAA found no wrongdoing.

Cam Newton never attended class in his 1 semester at Auburn. AND THIS WAS CONFIRMED ON CAMERA BY HEAD COACH GENE CHIZIK. Coach Chizik said “he causes too much of a disruption in class because he is a Heisman Trophy Contender.” This was in October of last year, well before Newton became the frontrunner for the Heisman. He was allowed to take his class(es) online. Every State newspaper in Alabama has reported that there was never any record found of Newton being enrolled at Auburn. EVERY OTHER MEMBER OF THE FOOTBALL TEAM – ALL 84 OF THEM – WERE EASILY VERIFIED AS BEING ENROLLED AT AUBURN. And the NCAA found no wrongdoing.

I am willing to bet you everything I own and ever will own, that the NCAA will never reveal the details of this investigation. How could it? The governing body of all NCAA Sports, simply put, is not accountable to the 120 Institutions it governs.

    1. How many times you going to post this J.D.? I mean post it as many times as you want but its not going to change anything! I promise you!

    2. JD,
I know all kinds of fans from all kinds of places in the states and they all agree on one thing.
SOMEBODY AT THE NCAA GOT PAID BIGTIME MONEY!!!

    3. It is over with and done. Auburn either did some mighty fine cheatin’ and got away with it, or there just wasn’t no evidence. Either way, I am past it, and moving on. It was fun to poke a stick at the cult members, if it were the other way around, they would have been the same way. Now that I think about it, they have always been that way towards us, lol! But it is over with, for now.

This is a new season, Bama is looking as strong as they ever have, and Auburn, well they are just barely keeping their head above water. They know the beatdowns are coming this weekend and in the Iron Bowl, even if they won’t openly admit it here. Seriously, if they are paying players this year, they should get their money back. But for me, I am just more excited for a run at the National Championship this season than anything Auburn done last season. They were lucky to win half of their games last season, and hardly dominated anyone. Bama has a team this season that is more impressive than anything Auburn could hope to have had last season. Too bad this team can’t play last years Auburn team.

  7. Of course. What did you expect from a program ripe with cheaters and millionaires and organized crime. Say for instance there are maybe 20 people in the NCAA privy to the sensitive information of this investigation. $100,000 to each to blow it off is a paltry $2,000,000 to those guys. Hell, it’s pocket change to Lowder and McGregor and the return on the investment vs a lockdown probation would make it worthwhile. I’ll tell you something else. There’s not 3 in 10 people who wouldn’t take a free $100,000 to look the other way for something as innocuous as illegal compensation for college football players. I’m not accusing – just saying.

  8. If the Foo shyts, wear it! If it looks like an Apple and it smells like an Apple and it tastes like an Apple – then damn, it probably is an Apple! RTR!

  9. Sure it does. Have we been investigated for anything since Shula’s bookgate? Have we done anything since Dumbose let the boosters phuck up with Means that is even remotely similar to Awbie signing a player known to have his father shopping him for a 1/4 million dollars. A player with a history of dishonesty and regardless of the dropped charges, criminal activity. A player who only attended for one semester before jumping pro and for whom they have some weak-assed excuse for why he never attended classes. And the beat goes on. They brought it on themselves by being stupid even if they didn’t pay him. They got a National championship and they also got a rep for being cheating shyts that even the administration is concerned about how to repair. Was it worth it? Maybe to the desperate little Red Headed Stepchildren it was. Like I said “If it looks like an Apple ——————-“. RTR!

  10. Well, I just think the barners new nick name should just simply be the Newtons, family and all that shit, you know.

  11. Well! I’m like everyone else, in college football. I think it’s going to come around again, and if and when they get a little proof on some dirt, they’re going to bury their ass in a hole so deep, that the Newtons won’t be able to beat Hoover high school, for the rest of college football history….AND THEN I’M GOING TO SIT BACK AND LAUGH MY FREAKING ASS OFF!!!! and I won’t feel a least bit sorry for those bunch of inbreds……after all their freaking begging for it…..

  12. In one of the other threads I said that Upshaw is Zeus and Richardson is Thor. At that time I did not know the defense was taking individual nicknames and that Hightower actually is Zeus. With that in mind how about naming the defense “Tide Titan’s”? And since they seem to like being named after Titan’s then Thor is the perfect nickname for Richardson who is without a doubt the Hammer. On the other hand I really, really like the nickname Crimson Crunch. What do ya’ll think? RTR!

    1. Well we all know who has the nickname “Satan” already.
I see he went all devilish on the media again yesterday, and got all red in the face and pissed off because he didn’t like a question or two. What an ass, I’m trully glad he is not our coach anymore. Somebody scream “Pearl Harbor”! LMAO

  13. Yeah we’re glad he’s not your phucking coach too. At least he doesn’t come off like a retard and can hold a coherent conversation with the press. Check the stat’s. His method has produced in a rebuilding period a much better record than Miles who has a program that Saban built for him. He has far more players going to the pros every year. And Alabama has a higher football graduation rate than LSWho. We love our azzhole because his method works and he is considered the best coach in the country. RTR!

    1. Well you better hope and pray he wins the SEC conference championship this year, because if not he will have one exactly 1 in five years. For being as great as you make him out to be that wouldn’t actually be that good now would it!

      1. I don’t think Bama has to hope and pray to do well this season. I think that everyone that has to play them is doing most of the hoping and praying. You can practically see it in every one of your posts.

That very same media that you are bragging about saying LSU is super awesome this year is the same media that thinks Saban is probably the best coach in the country. You can tell that four years of having to hear that is getting next to you.
