This is just what disgraced Josh Luchs did on talk radio, according to CBS Sports.com’s Dennis Dodd. Luchs went on WHB 810 in Kansas City today. Dodd reported, “Luchs took particular issue with (Saban calling agents pimps) that statement Thursday, reminding his audience that Saban made more than $5 million per year, adding, ‘What he’s done here is he’s showed who the whore is.’”
Huh? How does making money and being successful turn someone into a whore?
Luchs doesn’t get it. See, the problem isn’t with players or coaches making money. The problem comes when unscrupulous SOBs come in and latch onto players in an effort to enrich themselves at the expense of the unsuspecting student-athlete.
And of course in true pimp fashion, Luchs wants to make as much money as he can—here comes the book deal!
Dodd reports, “Luchs is in the process of writing a book that essentially is an extension of the SI story. If you listen or watch close enough, you can probably catch Luchs going through the national carwash promoting himself.”

And they want to get mad because he makes money as a football coach, like coaching and being an agent trying to seduce these kids are the same thing. Pretty weak argument if you ask me. Sure Saban recruits kids. It is part of his job. It is illegal to go after these kids while they are currently playing for a college team. Big difference.
