Alabama’s Kareem Jackson drafted 20th

Alabama Crimson Tide cornerback Kareem Jackson
The Houston Texans selected Alabama Crimson Tide cornerback Kareem Jackson with the 20th selection in the 2010 NFL Draft Thursday evening.

According to Yahoo.com’s draft analysis, “The Texans needed to find a cornerback to replace Dunta Robinson and Jackson fills the void. However, I don’t know how you can go with Jackson over a guy like Kyle Wilson at this stage. But he is a technically sound guy who can tackle and find the football down the field. He just isn’t the big time man-to-man corner that Wilson is.”

There is no doubt that playing for Alabama Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban improved the NFL status for Jackson.
