Beth Moore in twitter tirade attacks biblical teaching on women and snipes at God’s created order.

Donald Trump broke Beth Moore, or rather, revealed who she really is.

In a showcase of how progressive Beth Moore has become, the lady preacher, err Bible teacher, and famous Never Trumper, attacked the biblical doctrine of complementarianism as a “doctrine of MAN.” In her Twitter thread against complementarianism, Beth Moore cites 2016 as year she changed.

Beth Moore tweeted, “Let me be blunt. When you functionally treat complementarianism—a doctrine of MAN—as if it belongs among the matters of 1st importance, yea, as a litmus test for where one stands on inerrancy & authority of Scripture, you are the ones who have misused Scripture. You went too far.”

However, the division between male and female is not a “doctrine of MAN,” but a doctrine of God. It is the clear teaching of Scripture that God created male and female and granted to each a different mandate. This includes the Apostle Paul’s admonition that women should not teach or exercise authority over men in the church (I Tim. 2:12).

If someone rejects God’s created order, that is a serious problem. And it has been reported many times that Beth Moore has preached in Sunday morning in the church in flagrant violation of the Apostle’s command.

After attacking the Apostle Paul, Moore then asked the public to forgive her for going along with the doctrine.

Beth Moore tweeted, “I beg your forgiveness where I was complicit. I could not see it for what it was until 2016. I plead your forgiveness for how I just submitted to it and supported it and taught it. I trusted that the motives were godly. I have not lost my mind. Nor my doctrine. Just my naivety. And, dudes, do not DM me. Spend your energy tending to your house.”

Beth Moore’s naiveté aside, notice something about when she changed her stance on the role of women.

2016.

What happened in 2016?

Donald Trump.

Beth Moore repeatedly attacked evangelicals for supporting the pro-life, pro-religious liberty candidate in the 2016 election. She has gone so far as to say, Evangelicalism died in 2016 because of Christians voting for Donald Trump.

So, not only did Donald Trump expose the ethical bankruptcy of progressive agents like Russell Moore, Donald Trump broke Beth Moore. Trump’s arrival exposed her for what she always was—a woman in open rebellion to the command of Christ given through His apostles.

  1. Beth Moore has joined Ronnie Greear and Meagan Markle as the latest high-profile individuals to throw their respective institutions under the bus. Nearing the end of his term, SBC President Ronnie Greear, a proven SBC church builder, has accused SBC churches of giving safe harbor to racism and “neo-confederate” thinking. As she “cuts ties” with the SBC, Beth Moore, a teacher of wide influence within the SBC now claims, “I don’t identify with some of the things in our heritage that haven’t remained in the past.”

One must wonder what it would take to satisfy the grievances of Greear and Moore. In the last decade our denomination has consistently given its official support to the themes of the woke -progressive agenda.

Along with the comments of its President, the SBC’s public ethicist, a former Democrat Party activist, told us in no uncertain terms to not vote for Donald Trump. One SBC seminary president has proclaimed that the SBC is having its own “me too moment.” Another refers publicly to the “nature” of white people. Convention delegates in recent years have voted to support critical race theory, intersectionality, and the re-writing of U.S. immigration laws to accommodate citizenship for those who have entered our country illegally.

Further, does our recent history suggest that the next liberal trope trending on social media will not become the basis for an affirming SBC resolution?

Another SBC leader frequently cited by the media says it is time for the SBC to do some “soul searching.” Perhaps the searching should begin with an ominous question. When has the liberalism the SBC is now entertaining ever benefitted a Christian denomination?

During the time the aforementioned events have occurred, the SBC has experienced a decline in numbers. And what has happened to attendance in the Episcopal Church since they began to ordain openly gay bishops? Did the promise that “many will come” occur?

And perhaps Beth would benefit from some soul searching as well. A good starting point would be in regards to the media that now celebrates her announcement. Does she not understand what that same media truly thinks of her and the truth she proclaims when she is not giving fodder to the Godless agenda they promote?

And yes, let Southern Baptists do some soul searching. Why have we recently become most known for annual conventions where divisive resolutions attempt to synthesize the gospel with the latest manifestations of the wisdom of men?

Are we warming at the wrong fire?

  2. She’s irrelevant. She’s been irrelevant for years. She taught lousy theology with a folksy twang that appealed until about minute five when you learned she was bleating garbage.

But she’s symptomatic of virtually every organized religious group: Communist. Raging commies is all they are. They’ll use whatever “ism” they need to push their commie stuff.

Leave the Church. Meet in small groups. Restore Jesus. Restore faith. That’s the answer.

Leave the BCs like this girlie to stew in their own shrieks.
