Thomas Sowell said claims of systemic racism in America is a lie that reminds him of Nazi propaganda. Well, today, the Southern Baptist Convention spread that very lie.

In an article published on the ERLC website, the Southern Baptist funded organization alleged that minorities are harmed by COVID-19 because America is just really evil.

The ERLC lies follow the usual Leftist talking points about how evil America is. For example, “But we need to recognize that those injustices are part of the larger picture of racial inequality and centuries of injustice in America.”

And, “Racial and ethnic minorities are more likely to live in densely populated areas—a contributing factor being systemic racism in public residential housing systems,” the ERLC proclaims.

Really? Systemic racism? That is a myth. Something real leaders like Thomas Sowell and Walter Williams have debunked.

In fact according to the Washington Times, Sowell said Systemic Racism is a “lie” that reminds him of Nazi propaganda. “It does remind me of the propaganda tactics of Joseph Goebbels during the age of the Nazis,” Sowell, who is black, told Fox News host Mark Levin on his show, Life, Liberty and Levin, during a Sunday airing. “It’s one of many words that I don’t think even the people who use it have any clear idea what they’re saying. Their purpose served is to have other people cave in.”

Yes. That is how bad this stuff published by the Southern Baptist Convention is.

It would be nice if the ERLC would show some actual proof that systemic racism exists rather than just telling lies like this. Pro tip: Spreading liberal lies is sin and not worthy of the Southern Baptist Convention. So, stop lying Russell Moore and the ERLC.

This is the view of America that the ERLC spews to its readers: “Our country has been plagued by racism since its founding, and we can still see results of it today. The healthcare inequities exacerbated by the COVID-19 crisis are just one example.”

Really? Is the COVID-19 crisis an example of racism? Or, is it an example of poverty? And, is poverty a result of racism or is it attributable to other factors as Thomas Sowell’s research indicates?

Also, is America’s history truly “plagued” by racism? Or, was America’s bloody Civil War and the Civil Rights Act examples of America confronting sin, paying the price and attempting to move forward?

Nobody says America is perfect. It is not. However, being imperfect is a long way from being a racist dystopia.

So, why is this article published by ERLC? It is nothing but a series of Leftist talking points asserted without any proof.

This is an outrageous use of Cooperative Program dollars. The SBC should not spread anti-American Leftist lies about the fantasy of systemic racism.

Everyone knows Russell Moore is a lifelong Democrat. That was exposed in 2016 in a Kentucky newspaper editorial by someone close to Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (SBTS). We found out in 2016 that Dr. Moore would use his SBC position to work to suppress conservative Christian voter turnout—in other words, he worked to help Hillary Clinton win by keeping pro-life Christians at home or voting Third Party.

Today, Russell Moore is using the ERLC to spread the lie that America is some type of systemic racist dystopia.

Ronnie Floyd and the SBC owe it to the people sitting in the pews to squelch this nonsense before it destroys any trust in the Southern Baptist Convention. The people are watching.  They won’t long tolerate these types of lies.
