President Donald Trump

Christianity Today reveals who and what they are—partisan hacks.

Christianity Today is Woke. It has embraced Identity Politics. Now it wants to let you know that it is apostate.

Doubt it? For example from their newest offering Trump Should Be Removed From Office: “We want CT to be a place that welcomes Christians from across the political spectrum, and reminds everyone that politics is not the end and purpose of our being.”

Well, Christians can’t be biblically faithful and Democrat. See, abortion is murder and you can’t have a biblical worldview and support the Party of Infanticide.

Nope.

Can’t do it.

Well, other than being politically incompetent, what else do the Christianity Today team want us to know?

CT writes, “But the facts in this instance are unambiguous: The president of the United States attempted to use his political power to coerce a foreign leader to harass and discredit one of the president’s political opponents. That is not only a violation of the Constitution; more importantly, it is profoundly immoral.”

False.

Really? You are not only incompetent, but you are a liar. The government of Ukraine repeatedly said that they never felt pressured. What you penned is false.

From that great “conservative” mainstream press outlet Time Magazine: “In an interview with TIME and three European publications on Nov. 30, President Zelensky denied ever talking to Trump “from the position of a quid pro quo.” “That’s not my thing,” he said during that interview.”

And, “Exclusive: Top Ukraine Official Andriy Yermak Casts Doubt on Key Impeachment Testimony.”

Also, Christianity Today compared Donald Trump to Bill Clinton over their moral failings.

“The President’s failure to tell the truth—even when cornered—rips at the fabric of the nation. This is not a private affair. For above all, social intercourse is built on a presumption of trust: trust that the milk your grocer sells you is wholesome and pure; trust that the money you put in your bank can be taken out of the bank; trust that your babysitter, firefighters, clergy, and ambulance drivers will all do their best. And while politicians are notorious for breaking campaign promises, while in office they have a fundamental obligation to uphold our trust in them and to live by the law.”

Notice the law part of the long quote?

Apparently, Christianity Today forgot that Bill Clinton was impeached over perjury—a legal issue—and not a simple falsehood. See, they are right that Clinton ripped at the fabric of the nation by undermining the very rule of law and the sanctity of our oaths.

The impeachment of Trump isn’t about any of that.

They know this, or at least they should know this.

Christianity Today has joined the ERLC and a host of other infiltrated evangelical organizations spreading the Woke Social Justice agenda.

Christianity Today isn’t what it was yesterday. You shouldn’t read it. They are incompetent at best and partisan liars at worst. Neither case makes them useful to the conservative Christian.

They are partisan hacks.

Everyone knows that now.

  1. I have rejected American Christianity for precisely the reason given by Christianity Today magazine: Because most so-called Christian pastors have embraced an American president of deplorable morals and extreme lawlessness. Most so-called men of God and supposed followers of Christ are clearly liars. Christ would clearly find a man of Trump’s deplorable moral character and lawlessness to be despicable.

    1. What’s that got to do with the price of tea in China?

Trump can be despicable and still be better than baby murderers.

You can reject Christianity all you want, but you are doing it because you don’t like the political implications of actually believing in God and the sanctity of human life. That’s your choice, but the idea that you advance fails any basic moral reasoning–namely, that lesser evils like Trump are preferable to greater evils like the Democratic Party and its commitment to Infanticide and the persecution of Christians.

      1. True.

I wonder what those whose moral perfections have made them too holy to have voted for Trump would say to the children who have NOT been aborted on account of his pro-life policies.

Similarly, as the leftwing immigration policies advocated by such moral superheroes as Russell Moore lead to increases in human trafficking and child sexual exploitation, how does one explain to the victims that what happened to them was all for a good cause.

When did it become Christian to elevate virtue signaling to the point where it is the ultimate fruit of salvation? I thought Christ was AGAINST such displays of phony moral awesomeness, or did I read that wrong?

      2. I agree with you, Dear Capstone Editor that The Democrat’ Party is pretty much evil.

Sad to say, The Republican is not all that much better, as the endless regime change wars they more fervently advocate than The Dems, have cost well over a million lives since 2003, not to mention displaced persons and the refugee crisises swamping European Nations.

The Republicans were the designers of the secret police state which, completely averse to everything America has ever meant, spies on your every communication without warrant.

The Republicans are controlled by industrial oligarchs that have destroyed our smalltowns by eradicating our industry and mom & pop stores, and importing slave labour (nicknamed ‘migrants) that is in the process of demographically replacing us in our own lands.

That said, President Trump has not behaved quite like a normal Republican, and, to that end, I am appreciative for more than a few things that he has done.

I do not see the presidency of Donald J. Trump as the lesser of 2 evils, but, rather, something that has definitely been to the good.

        In any case, Merry Xmas!

Please show me your data. How many Christian pastors do we have in America, and what percentage of them have “embraced” President Trump.

Pro tip: Merely voting for the lesser of two evils is not an “embrace.” It is a practical response to a political reality. Christ did not embrace Caesar when he said to “render unto Caesar…”

Again, I will need to see your data. If you are unable to provide it, that might have implications as to your veracity.

    3. Dear Miss Kelly – I appreciate your point of view. That said, Christ got along with every kind – including Pontius Pilate, who, perhaps because of that, spoke and wrote very kind things about Christ.

Moreover, does the Bible not show that The Lord will use any sort of man for his tool?

Lastly, Dear Miss Kelly, I would say this to you as a Southerner – after years of voting for those genteel men, who said all the right things, I pretty much made up my mind that I would vote for whoever spoke anything close to approximating to the truth.

Short of Southerners raising the Confederate flag, and daring the United States’ Government to come and take it, voting for Candidate Trump seemed to be the best thing I could do.

Though he has not lived up to a number of things, I have to say that he’s been a better president than we have had since Eisenhower, if not Jefferson Davis.

And, speaking of Jefferson Davis, he would not promote Nathan Bedford Forrest to command The Army of Tennessee because he lacked class, tact, couth. Later on, in his autobiography, he alluded to that being the biggest of mistakes.

  2. Christianity Today showed their true ‘sponsorship’ and allegiance back in 2015, when the CIA planted a bomb on a Virginia school bus, and got caught in the act. CT was in the lineup of ‘media’ voices that took their ‘reporting comments’ straight from that agency’s cue cards… offering the exact same lame excuses as the mainstream lineup. They outed themselves then. Obviously fake news has to have its tentacles in every sphere of life, and throw as wide a net as possible. Check out #9 in the media list in this article..

  3. We have the first president that has come along in over 60 years who has named the name of Jesus Chris. He has come a long way from his hedonistic youth, and as Jesus himself said – Let those among you without sin, throw the first stone. Yet Christianity Today is chucking rocks. You see fit to join the chorus of news outlets attacking the president. At a time when we desperately need to pull together, when we are coming apart at the seams morally, economically, culturally, politically and spiritually, CT is abetting the demise. Why?
Why not use your substantial influence to HEAL this nation? To PULL us together? Why not use it to call the churches together to REPENT of our national sins? Trump can’t do it alone. President Trump is fighting demonically motivated enemies on every side. HOW DARE YOU JOIN THEM!? How dare you choose to do that as such a desperate time as this.. May the Lord rebuke you soundly.
