I thought they already had renamed it?
No. They renamed it the “tAlabama PolyTECHnic Institute” national championship because according to the Barnies, 2 Heisman Winners = 2 National Championships.
Even though it’s been forever since they’ve boasted them, I remember back when all we heard was “We’s gots two heyzman winners and Alabammer dont!”
I remember those days well. The Heisman trophy taunting was almost as retarded as the six in a row taunting. Only the six wins are a little more relevant. Make that a lot more.
Or maybe the fact that Hiesman himself went to Auburn ?
