  1. So I’m flipping through the media guide and checking out the 2013 roster for The Avengers, er, I mean for the Alabama Crimson Tide, and then I got a little confused.

I thought we lost a lot of talent from the 2012 title-winning team? I’m sure some of them are gone, right? Yet reading through the names and stats and special powers of the players in this 2013 guide makes it look like nobody left? But if they hadn’t left, Alabama wouldn’t have room for all this talent.

It’s crazy. It never, ever gets old.

It sounds something like this. Kouandjio. Jones. McCarron. Hubbard. Sunseri, Vogler, Yeldon, Cooper, Bell, Kouandjio (yeah, we’ve got two, it’s a monopoly like that), Hart, Steen, Belue, Fanning, Ely, Fowler, DePriest, Drake, Foster, Collins (special steak sauce for you), Clinton-Dix (ha ha ha hahahahahahahaha), Mosley, Norwood, Sims, McCarron (yep, we’ve got two of them too), I mean, just looking at the roster in this media guide format is enough to have to cover up the half-mast in my jeans. It’s ridiculous.

It’s a comic book. Only this one has characters with better super powers than anything from Marvel or DC. The green-line “scans” even make it look like some sort of 21st-century comic.

Then you get to Smart. Nussmeier. Steele. Cochran. Saban. Good grief.

I freaking love this thing. And it’s free? Roll Tide.
