SEC Football Media Days 2013 will be held July 16-18.
The SEC Media Days 2013 is set for July 16-18 at the Wynfrey Hotel in Hoover. The Alabama football team and coach Nick Saban are scheduled for Day Three of the festivities.
Day One of SEC Media Days 2013 features the ever quotable South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier. Also on tap for Tuesday, July 16 are the very popular recruiter at Ole Miss, the still new to the SEC Missouri and the intense Florida Gators coach Will Muschamp.
Day Two of SEC Media Days 2013 features SEC sensation Texas A&M. It will be fun to see what players A&M brings to Birmingham. I’m sure everyone expects the Heisman Trophy Winner Johnny Manziel, but we will have to wait and see on the official list. Also on the Wednesday agenda are Arkansas, Auburn and the Tigers’ new coach hoping to make his team less sucky, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Tennessee.
Day Three of SEC Media Days 2013 features defending national champion the Alabama Crimson Tide. The Alabama football players making the trip to Birmingham will be announced later. Also on the Wednesday agenda are the defending SEC East Champion Georgia Bulldogs, LSU and Vanderbilt.
Attendees at SEC Media Days 2013 will see a revamped Wynfrey Hotel. The hotel has been undergoing a renovation. I can say that it has improved the individual rooms, but I have not seen the meeting spaces as it was blocked off on my last stay at the hotel.
