Alabama football assistant coach Jeff Stoutland may avoid serious penalties unlike other former Miami assistant coaches, according to a report on the NCAA’s imminent Notice of Allegations against the University of Miami.

According to the Palm Beach Post, “A UM source said Tuesday that former Hurricanes’ offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland may avoid tough penalties because of his cooperation with the NCAA in the Shapiro case. Shapiro, a former UM booster and a convicted Ponzi schemer serving 20 years in a federal prison, implicated Hurtt, Hill, Stoutland and other UM coaches in recruiting violations. Stoutland is now the offensive line coach at Alabama.”

Alabama fans and other SEC fans will be watching the unfolding Miami situation as information leaks in advance of the official NCAA list of allegations.

  1. NCAA – National Communists Against Atheletes!!!

Glad their cool with our coach though. Word from Shapiro in prison anyway is that he didn’t do anything ‘really’ wrong – he just likes to party.
