Nick Saban has more National Championships than Les Miles since he started. Do your math. Nick has the edge in head to head meetings with Miles. Nick recruits better, develops players better, and coaches better. Not a single Bama fan would trade coaches with LSU right now, but half of LSUs fan base would trade in a heartbeat.

Guys, I’ve been an LSU fan and have attended games since 1957, and I’ve seen a lot of good Alabama teams and 3-4 “great ones”. The writer of the article does a pretty good job of telling it like it is. Bama is the National Champ . . . and the rest of us are a little (or a lot) in its shaddow. But, this is the SEC, and I doubt there’s a team or a fan of any other team in the conference who’s intimidated by it.

I really like being in the West with Alabama. If you want to be the best, you have to play (and beat) the best. That’s why I like Florida as our perpetual opponent from the East. Bama has an easier schedule next season (it looks like) but that doesn’t worry me. None of us can look past several teams in the conference, and believe it or not, we’ll be at your house ready and waiting next season. Should be a great game, but none of us had better look past A&M . . . or Ole Miss . . . or Arkansas . . . or Miss State. Then there’s UGA for us. Nobody plays harder football top to bottom than the SEC. As for Coach Saban, he’s got a “great process”, but other teams are learning that process. We have a pretty darn good process to, and we are going to both have to learn from Sumlin’s offenses. He is a very scary addition to the SEC, but that’s what keeps us the best.

Because Alabama has a football team that beats his team and he can’t deal with it like an adult. And because he doesn’t like it pointed out how life is in Alabama’s shadow, he wants bad things to happen to people.
