Another outstanding job by coach Saban!!! I’ve been on a team where the recruiting was suspect, and they brought in some questionable Euro-trash that caused all types of trouble. None of that here – good group!

Cooper Bateman looks fake.

Not fake as in artificial, but fake as in too-good-to-be-true.

He always looks like a comic book superhero. Always. He looks like he doesn’t even have to shave because he can will his beard not to grow.

Then you watch him throw. He hasn’t yet been “developed” by Saban and Cochran et all, but good grief, Bateman already looks like a Ferrari. I think I have a mancrush. Oh well.

Usually I get more excited about the defensive guys. Don’t get me wrong, I’m stoked—-we have another wall of flesh coming to the Capstone, it appears. But Bateman just looks too perfect. Grabbing him from the western seaboard is like a 3-foot layer of icing on a crimson-colored cake. Roll Tide.

Henry could play just about anywhere on the field.Watched some of his HS clips and just smiled. “Bama got a good one with this young man. RTR

I’m excited about the Henry kid at running back. I heard they may look at him at Linebacker as well.

Either way, that size and speed combination…..Wow!
