The status of Michigan running back Fitzgerald Toussaint and defensive end Frank Clark was clarified Friday by Wolverine football coach Brady Hoke. Both are suspended for the Alabama game and will not make the trip to Dallas, according to media reports.

Via Twitter Joe Schad quoted Brady Hoke: “The decision was not easy, but I feel it is in the best interest of this program and the kids, and those always will be my priorities.” (Source)

You can read the AP’s version of the story here. The AP forecasts, “The eighth-ranked Wolverines will likely use running backs Thomas Rawls, Vincent Smith, Justice Hayes perhaps along with newcomers Dennis Norfleet and Drake Johnson against the defending national champion Crimson Tide.”

    1. Why are you “schocked”? Might it be because you doubt your coach would have done the same thing under the same circumstances?

      1. Sounds like sour grapes from a Barnterd truth…Your jealousy is showing…you might want to cover it up…

        1. Hope you weren’t directing that at me A Granger. I am by no means an Auburn fan, except for maybe when they play Alabama.

  1. Chizik will keep reminding us how “young” his team is. “We will be good when we are all 5th year Seniors!”

  2. Wish Hoke would have let the RB play. Now Michigan fans for the next 100 years will claim he cost them 5 td’s and lost the game. Prediction: Clemson leading 27-21 with 3 seconds left. Awbie throws a Hail Mary from their own 30 which is batted in the air six seperate times by Clemson defenders and finally falls into the arms of an Awbie receiver laying on his back in the endzone. Awbie kicks the extra point and wins 28-27 once again evoking memories of Mark Ingrams Iron Bowl fumble and the question of how many sacrificial chickens does it take to win a football game against a superior opponent? Bwaa Haww Haww! RTR!

  3. I have to give credit to Hoke. He suspended the players for a meaningful game. He must actually run his program and tries to instill discipline with his team. I know of some teams that could use that kind of discipline…hint, hint.

    1. Exactly Ho Egull…Hoke is a great coach…He did the right thing…I hate it for the kids but it builds character when you have to pay for your mistakes…It’s a great “Life Lesson” a perfect “Teaching Moment”…

I guess to some of you it’s no big deal for a college kid to get a DUI…but to someone like me who has lost a family member to a drunk driver it makes a big difference in how I feel about Coach Hoke and the Meechigan program in general…

The OLY downside to this is as someone already stated…The we could have, would have, should have crap that will pour out of Ann Arbor like a cow pissing on a flat rock because of the suspended players…I wish too that we could go Good On Good with them to prove the SEC is the best, but it is what it is…The kid made a mistake…The coach made him pay…It was the RIGHT thing to do…For the kid…for their team…and for ALL college football players and students…It sends a POWERFUL message and for that…I am grateful…

I hope both teams have a injury free game…and may the best team win…

  4. The TRUTH is like everyone else outside of the SEC. They are so jealous of the SEC I figured UM would let him play hoping it would make a difference in the beat down BAMA’s fixing to put on them!!!

      1. I’ll answer you DA question, Twooth – Saban has his teams so deep right now, that, yes, he’d have suspended these players. It wouldn’t have made any difference in the result of this game, though. Haters gonna hate on champions.

        1. You are EXACTLY RIGHT Petie! Because Saban would had suspended these players NOW that he “has his team so deep”, but when his team wasn’t so deep, like Hoke’s team now, Saban did not have the courage and fortitude of Hoke. Go back and look at the La Monroe game when Saban didn’t have his team so deep, and he suspended one of his star players only to lift that suspension after the half when it was evident that his team might lose and he thought that player could help his team win. And don’t spout off any BS about the suspension only being for a half because Nick never said that before the game and what coach only suspends a player for a half! You know, yet may not be intellectually secure enough to admit it, but if Alabama had been beating La Monroe by 20 or more points at half time like they should have been, Saban would have never put him in the game. Haters gonna hate and liars gonna lie, champions or not.

    1. Since you’re old and slow Be4 I will help you out. Go reread my original reply to your original post and you will find my question with one of these “?” at the end of it.

  5. I don’t think it bothered us one bit. Look, if they get in trouble, they can’t play. Just the way it is.

  6. Flash drag your dumb Coonass back to Corndogville. You don’t know shit about Saban. You have your enough problems with a fucking coach that eats grass. In 07 Saban was trying to hold together a fucked up team that wasn’t his. At the time of the LM game he was still hoping they would conform. But they didn’t. After the Iron Bowl and before the Independence Bowl he kicked about 20 players off the team. Because of that the ’08 team had only 7 seniors – the fewest in the nation, and had no reserves; which was why they lost to Florida and Utah. So don’t come on here running your fucking mouth about things you know nothing about. By the way, your asses are headed for a worse beatdown than we gave you in New Orleans. Bwaa Haww Haaw! RTR!

    1. Crimsonite is your diarrhea of the mouth addressing this post –

“You are EXACTLY RIGHT Petie! Becaues if so nothing you said refutes the point that Saban didn’t have the courage and fortitude in 07 to do what Hoke did Saturday which was the topic of conversation which I’m sure you missed in your drunkard state of mind as usual.

  7. Once more motherfuker I’ll tell you that you’re a fuking homer retard. If throwing 20 fuking players off the team before the bowl game isn’t 10 times the fortitude you’re pitifully trying to reference then you’re a cock sucker too. Which is it fool. As for who you’re talking about, you don’t know shit about that situation or why it was handled the way it was. So fuck off! Additionally Saban suspended 5 players for 4 games in the text book mess before the NCAA ever got involved and so suspended Julio Jones, Heisman winner Mark Ingram for q

  8. I hate this fuking Android touch screen. And would have suspended Julio Jones and Heisman winner Mark Ingram for nothing more than a fishing trip if the NCAA had asked him to. He suspended for 4 games Jerrell Harris for accepting a used laptop when we were hurting for cornerbacks and he was to be a starter. Since that time there hasn’t been a situation arise that might have required a temporary suspension. The few problems we’ve had since then he simply suggested the culprits look for another school to attend. Life must really be a bitch for you to hate Nick Saban and Alabama so much that you spend your time imagining bullshit fantasies about them. You’ll hate them even worse on.Nov 3rd, and I love it you shit for brains. Bwaa Haww Haww! RTR!

    1. “WOULD HAVE” suspended Julio Jones and Mark Ingram for nothing more than an “against the rules” fishing trip “IFTHE NCAA HAD ASKED HIM TO”! LMAO Crimsonite do you even read your own words.

Crimsonite you know I’m right or it wouldn’t get you so upset that you foam at the mouth with your vulgarity. And I do know shit about the situation and why it was handled the way it was. Too bad you don’t know as much shit as you pretend to.

And as for yoou comment about Nov. 3rd, bla bla bla! You made all those same comments before the game on Nov. 5th last year, but your team couldn’t back your mouth up. Now go ahead and make a comment about the BCS revenge game where bama had an extra week off to prepare and scout LSU while they were playing and beating Georgia in the SEC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME while bama was sitting at home because they lost that Nov 5th game last year! GO ahead it won’t bother me, but your comment was about this years regular season game just like your comments were last year and like I said your ass couldn’t back your mouth up! Right Crimsonite? You know I’m right and you can’t stand it!

      1. Your team sucks, while ours is entering the national championship picture for the fifth year in row.

How does mediocrity taste? It’s been so long we can’t remember.

        1. Yea right typical bammer comment. My team is ranked no. 1 in one poll, ahead of you bama team and no. 3 in the other poll, but my team sucks. LMAO

If mediocrity is being ranked no. 1 then it taste good ITK, thanks for asking.

  9. Oh and that bowl game that you claim 20 players were thrown off the team before was the Independence Bowl. WOW LMAO

    1. Auburn is 0-1, losing to a team that gave up 70-pts on their last outting. Helloooooooo 6-6 (in year four of the Chiz era!).

      WOW! LMAO!

  10. ITK, this dipshit is the x “The Flash”. The stupid motherfuker who ran his mouth on here so much last year before Bama made the Mudbugs eat their own shit. After the worst beat down and embarrassment in the history of the BCS the retard thinks he can bother us or me with some dumbass hollow and meaningless bullshit to try and add some luster to his Corndogs. See, it’s the same everywhere. They were so proud of their whole damn team including their QB’s until Bama made them eat shit, and then their QB’s sucked and they were glad to get rid of them. Now we did the same thing to Michigan and their Heisman candidate QB and lo and behold, the next day Denard isn’t worth a shit and they can’t wait to get rid of him. I just love to listen to ’em cry and make up excuses. What are they going to say when we break the new guys legs? LSWho looked like shit against a team that could barely get a first down against us last year. I’m actually more worried about Arky than the Corndogs. In fact it wouldn’t surprise me to see them drop back to #4 or #5 when the polls come out tomorrow. Truth you have to be the mother of all dumbasses to come on our board and proclaim that a dumbass Corndog like you knows anything about what goes on in the Alabama Football Complex. The only Goddamn thing you know is internet gossip. As for my prediction in the first game – nobody is perfect and nobody expected our kickers to have the only bad day of their career in that game. The real point is that game aside – I toild everybody how much better than LSWho Alabama was and in the end they showed it. And what a dumbfuk excuse about an extra fuking week to prepare. The actual truth of the matter is 5 weeks without a game is more detrimental than good. You dumb fukers had 4 weeks. If you couldn’t figure it out in 4 weeks you couldn’t figure it out in a lifetime.Once again LSWho looked like shit Saturday night against a shit team, while Bama looked like the reincarnation of the Green Bay Packers against the winningest team in football history. So once again – Fuck Off! RTR!

  11. To all the haters above….scroll up and take a look at my prediction…..pretty darn close wouldn’t you say!!!!
Haters gonna hate cause their so jealous they can’t see straight!!’. It’s gonna be a long year for some of you…..RTR

  12. The thuth…..who gives a darn what the polls say this early in the season? The only “truth” is that you are an idiot!!! RTR

    1. Hey Bever I believe ITK it the idiot with his mediocrity comment. Those that forget will soon regret.

And you and the gump nation give a darn what the polls say this early in the season and don’t pretend you don’t. Go look at all the complaints on this site alone when the first poll came out and had LSU and USC ahead of bama. So to pretend you don’t give a darn makes you a lying idiot Befour.

      1. Truth, hopefully the NCAA will grant an exception and let ya’ll play North Texas every game this season. That’s the only way you’re making it to Miami. I’ll send you a postcard.

      2. LOL ITK we’re just copying after Alabama. While LSU was playing the toughest schedule in the nation last year with OCC games against Top 25 teams like Oregon and West Virginia, Bama was taking it easy and playing teams like…Oh yea North Texas and you bammers still made it to the championship game didn’t you! LMAO

Didn’t your mama ever teach you that People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.

    1. There you go Befour, Crimsonite is the first to prove me right and you wrong. You asked “who gives a darn what the polls say this early in the season?” Well Crimsonite just gave you your answer – the gump nation does. I bet Crimsonite jerked off while looking at todays poll results and he probably wasn’t the only gump who post on here that did so.

  13. Truth…..why don’t you shut up and get off our blog…..BTW have you seen the polls today?
    RTR

    1. There you go Befour, Crimsonite is the first to prove me right and you wrong. Why don’t I shut up and get off your blog? What are you, 10 years old?

      1. Would this be the same poll that proclaimed LSU was number 1 this time last season? You guys really believed it then, and here you are in disagreement with it now that Bama is there. Bama is past LSU and Bama is in the head of LSU and its coach, players, and the fans. These humiliating beatdowns tend to do that to you guys. WE have seen it a lot over the past few years, even more than you have seen your Tigers do it. Most people acknowledge that Bama and LSU are the teams to beat in the SEC, but right now, LSU is the team trying to catch up. You know the pressure is on Miles this year regardless of where the teams are ranked. But I promise you this: This Bama team will handle the pressure of being number one, a lot better than your team did last year (this team has had more experience with dealing with it) . This year, there won’t be any ‘rematches’ or two SEC teams playing for the NC. So as long as Bama keeps winning big, LSU and USC can fight over who will get the opportunity to get beat down by Bama in the end. Seriously, haven’t you guys been paying attention to what Saban has been doing the past 5 years? Surely you know that Miles has not matched it, and is not going to. LSU peaked last season, and Bama is only getting started reloading each year with Saban recruited players. Saban has out-classed and out-coached Miles when it has counted the most. Saban left LSU with enough recruiting talent to have the players to continue winning, and Miles had a two year head start in picking up where Saban left off. Saban has built Bama up in less time and with a lot less to start with than Miles did. Do the math, and you can see the truth, Truth.

        1. Brando you must be a democrat the way you make false statements and try to rewrite history.

Fisrt of all you make the false assumption and statement that I disagree with the polls that came out today. No where did I make that statement. In fact I beleive the polls should be based on and reflect what happens on the field and not what some ESPN speaking head think. Alabama beat a decent Michigan team that was ranked no. 19 before suspending two of there better players before the game. Even so, it was a better performance than USC or LSU had in week one and therefore I don’t disagree with the poll after week 1. However, to be fair I should point out that bama’s win against Michigan was not as impresive as LSU’s win against the consensus No. 3 ranked Oregon team in the opening game last year and LSU did not jump to No. 1 after that game although it was by far the best performance on the field in week 1 of last year. So see I can be fair and objective and speak the truth, unlike you bamers who I know didn’t think LSU deserved to jump bama and to No. 1 after beating Oregon in game one last year. Did you Brando?

Second you seem to forget that Les Miles and LSU split with Bama last year, including beating them on their own home field. You also seem to forget that Miles is 3-3 against Saban and is 2-2 against Saban after Saban turned around bama and won its first BCS championship. I’m not sure that’s how anyone else would define out classed, but you bamers have always been known to write your own history in your own minds. Based on your way of thinking one could say until that last game last year, just two games ago, bama and Saban was trying to catch up to LSU and Les Miles. After all they were 3-2 against bama before that game and ranked no.1.

Third, LSU was ranked no 1 for eleven weeks last year against a tougher schedule than bama has for the rest of this year, so I would say they handled it very well. Why don’t you wait until you’ve actually done it before you start talking, oh that’s right your a bamer and you think you’ll never lose. Remember 2010 and last year’s regular season game against LSU?

Fourth, Brando you were convinced you were going to win the first game against LSU in Denny Bryant stadium last year, don’t you learn anything from history. Tell me you don’t think LSU has a chance against Bama at night in Tiger Stadium? Tell me Brando if LSU does lose a close game that night and USC and Oregon each have two loses, which is possible if the loser of their first game has two losses and beats the other in their championship game, do you not think there could be another rematch? Did you see Oklahoma’s first game? And I don’t have faith that Florida State can run the tables. But you contradict yourself anyway. In one sentence you say there won’t be a any rematches or two SEC teams playing for the NC, and in the next sentence you say LSU and USC can fight over who will get the oppertunity to get to play bama in the end. That just shows how confused you are. And you know down in your heart that if bama didn’t get the rematch that it didn’t deserve last year, it would be bama trying to catch up to LSU and Les Miles.

Fifth, you say Saban has out coached Miles when it counted the most. Again you want to rewrite history. That first game of last year counted the most at the time it was played, because you had no clue you would get lucky enough to get a rematch, yet everyone, including the number one bamer, Paul Finebaum, said Miles out coached Saban in that game. If you knew right now that bama would get a rematch even if it loses the Nov. 3rd game against LSU this year, would you say right now that game doesn’t count for much even thoug you know it would be for the SEC Championship and West Division Titles? No you wouldn’t, you know you would want to win that game anyway and that it would count.

And last I disagree that Saban built Alabama with less to start than Miles had. Despite what had happened at Bama the couple of years before Saban got there, Bama sitll had a greater winning history and tradition than LSU had, had more resources than LSU despite its recent history and Saban had a reputation as a winning college coach who had won a BCS championship and reputation thanks to LSU, Miles did not have any of that.

So Brando take your crimson glasses off sometimes and maybe you can see the whole truth, not just that fabricated by bamers and gumps.

Brando I know you will agree with me on this because it is the undisputed truth – The SEC is by far the best college football conference in the nation. Right? And since LSU won the SEC last year that makes LSU the Champions of the best, and Alabama is just the Champions of the rest! Truth.

          1. FACT: LSU is trying to catch up with BAMA. Not the other way around.
FACT: The game that counted most last season WAS the BSC National Championship.
FACT: Les Miles was severely out-classed and out-coached in that game.
FACT: Saban had LSU in a lot better shape when Miles took over than Shula had left Saban.
FACT: Saban has accomplished more with Bama than Miles has with LSU and Miles has been there two years longer.

Write another essay full of fluff and dispute all you want. These FACTS remain. Suck it up and admit the truth.

          2. Fact: Miles is 4-3 against Alabama

Fact: Miles is 3-3 against Nick Saban and Alabama

Fact: LSU is 5-3 against Nick Saban

Fact: Since Alabama won its first BCS Championship with Nick Saban, Les Miles and LSU are 2-2 against Alabama even though “according to the recruiting services rankings” Saban and Alabama have out recurited Les Miles and LSU.

Fact: Based on the previous fact, Les does more with less than Saban does with more.

Fact: If LSU beats Alabama this year at night in Tiger Stadium, He will be 5-3 against Alabama and 4-3 against Nick Saban and it will be Alabama praying to catch up to LSU once again.

Fact: Bama hasn’t won anything but 1 game so for this year.

FACT: LSU is the Champions of the best (SEC), and Alabama is just the Champions of the rest (BCS)! Suck it up and admit the truth and deal with it.

          3. And here is one more for you:

Fact: Nick Saban was severely out-classed and out-coached by Les Miles in the first game last year and Les Miles was severely out-classed and out-coached by Nick Saban in the second game last year. That makes them 1-1 for last year and 3-3 overall. Deal with it.

        2. Lets see Truth…. one game was a severe beatdown, and the other game was a 9-6 OT loss that Bama lost more on their own doing than anything Miles caused…

LSU 2008-2011: 40-12, 1 SEC Championship, no undefeated seasons, no National Championships, No Heisman winners

Bama 2008-2012: 48-6, 1 SEC Championship, 2 National Championships, 1 undefeated season, 1 Heisman winner

          Bamas overall record against LSU:
          25-46-5

Seriously dude, what you are bringing is WEAK. So just shut the f*ck up and deal with TRUTH

          1. Oh how convient of you to start your comparison with 2008, the year after LSU won the BCS Championship. You really are a democrat arent you.

Who had the best record last year, LSU or Alabama?

Seriously chick, what you are bringing is WEAK. So just shut the f*ck up and deal with TRUTH

FACT: LSU is the Champions of the best (SEC), and Alabama is just the Champions of the rest (BCS)!

          2. Nope. Just a four year comparison. I am done with you, after bitch-slapping you with FACTS. So just re-read my last post, crying about it doesn’t change it in any way.

  14. @Crimsonite- I think you are right about The truth. It’s The Flash sure as the world Or someone just as long-winded. RTR

  15. You are The Flash, so let’s just drop the charade. There’s only ever been one long winded, stat quoting, stubborn, dumbass Coonass on this board. You can argue all you want but you know the truth and it eats your ass up. The culmination of the grass eaters time at LSWho and Saban at Bama was summarized in one curb stomping, ass raping game in the Superdome last January. It is the benchmark that our future series with LSWho will always be measured against. I seriously doubt if the Corndog nation will ever live it down. You were measured, tested and found wanting. Also you erred on Michigan’s ranking. They were ranked #8 and favored to win the B1G. They are ranked #19 after the ass rape. And they only had 1 star player suspended – their RB, the other was just average. Bama on the other hand lost one of our JC transfer CB’s, a superstar WR Chris Black and our better than theirs RB Eddie Lacy was injured and limited to 8 carries which is nothing. Plus we played 13 freshmen and most of the entire bench. As for Michigan against Oregon I’m not sure your win was any bigger. Michigan and Oregon had the same record last year plus Mich St was the best team in the B1G last year but Wisconsin went to the Rose Bowl where Oregon needed a last second TD to beat them. This year Michigan is the B1G favorite, so we can’t be sure that last years Oregon would do any better against Michigan than they did against Wisconsin. With that in mind LSWho came no where near dominating Oregon like Bama did Michigan. In fact Oregon had better stats and most of the nation credited Oregon’s 5 turnovers as the main reason for the loss, whereas the whole nation – at least the relevant part of it called Michigan’s loss a monumental beat down and curb stomping. You can’t win here Corndog. RTR!

    1. Crimsonite I stand corrected of the fact that Michigan was ranked No. 8 before the game, but you stand confirmed as dumb as shit if you think beating, what you and an article on this site have already claimed, an overated Michigan team ranked no. 8 is equal to are better than LSU’s win over a No. 3 ranked Oregon that did finish the year ranked no. 4 in the nation. Do you really think that Michigan team will ranked no. 8 in the nation after they get another spanking by Urban Meyer and Ohio State?

So you are saying Michigan’s turnovers to Alabama had nothing to do with Alabama players, that Alabama was just lucky, and Michigan just gave them those turnovers? You would have to be saying that to be consistient with you comments about the turnovers LSU Oregon to have. And if “most of the nation credited Oregon’s 5 tournovers as the main reason for the loss” why did the voters from around the nation jump LSU over Alabama in the rankings after that game? YOU Sir (cough cough) are full of shit!

So when and what was hurt on Lacey, his pride after only averaging 3.9 yards per carry compared to Yeldon’s 10.1? Lacey sure didn’t look hurt while in the game or on his touchdown run, so he couldn’t have been hurt before the game (surely Saban wouldn’t play a hurt player and put a victory above that players health, would he). And he didn’t come off the field hurt, so again Crimsonite I believe you are full of shyt.

Crimsonite it couldn’t have been a “monumental beat down and curb stomping” if Michgan was overated as you and this site claim. You can’t have it both ways, even if you do go both ways, like most perverted rednecks.

    2. And by the way Crimsonite, you loose with the facts liberal democrat, there were only 4 turnovers in that Oregon game last year, all cause by great plays by LSU players. None were thrown directly to them by the other team’s quaterback like in your game this year. Try harder because you are not winning here Redneck.

    3. This just in…. most of the nation has credited Michigan’s 3 turnovers as the main reason for there loss.

That sounds like you Crimsonite! Is that sutpid or what!
