Tinker posted the photograph in this tweet, “We’re getting our rings today… I wonder what those SEC rings look like, oh well haha #rolltide.”

Alabama defeated LSU 21-0 to win the 2011 national championship in football. As Tinker alluded to in his post, Alabama won the honor after failing to win its division or conference championship since the Crimson Tide lost at home to LSU 9-6 during the regular season.

However, the resounding victory in New Orleans at the BCS title game eliminated any question about the national championship and the Alabama Crimson Tide was consensus national champion.

  1. Seems like Mal Moore currently has 9 NC rings, one for each Bama NC since the beginning of the Bear Bryant era.

I hope he gets an even 10 real soon.
