The Alabama Gymnastics team is headed to the NCAA postseason as the #1 seed in the NCAA Regional Championship set for Seattle, Washington.

From Twitter: BamaGymnastics is headed to Seattle, Wash. for the NCAA Regional Championships as the No. 1 seed.

According to UA Media Relations, “As one of the top-18 teams in the nation, Alabama will be one of three seeded teams assigned to one of the six regional sites. The sites, determined prior to the season, include Seattle, Wash., Salt Lake City, Utah, Fayetteville, Ark., Champaign, Ill., Auburn, Ala. and Raleigh, N.C. Coming into this year’s postseason, the Crimson Tide has won an NCAA-best 26 regional championships, including seven in a row.”

The Alabama team finished second in the SEC Championship over the weekend in Duluth, Ga.
