Alabama Crimson Tide safety Will Lowery suffered a knee injury in Saturday’s win over Georgia Southern.
Alabama released a statement Sunday from Alabama Crimson Tide football coach Nick Saban.
“Will Lowery had an MRI Sunday which confirmed that he has a torn ACL that will require surgery,” Alabama football coach Nick Saban said. “Will has been a very good player for us and an outstanding person in terms of his contributions to the team and the program. We are confident he will make a full recovery and he has the support of everyone in the organization as he goes through the rehab process.”
