USC Coach Lane Kiffin and his USC Trojans clarified the BCS picture with an upset win over Oregon.

USC’s offense move the ball almost at will with balance—running and passing at will on Oregon. The Ducks responded, but were slowed just enough by the Trojans. Once again, kickers played an important role.

The star of the night was USC’s Matt Barkely who threw for 323 yards and four touchdowns. Southern Cal receivers Marqise Lee and Robert Woods caught touchdown passes.

  1. BCS tomorrow night:

    #1 LSU

    #2 Alabama

    #3 Arkansas

    Historic.

Never before has the top three BCS teams been from, not only one conference, but ONE DIVISION of one conference.

Hate on SEC haters. The nightmare just becomes more real.

No matter who wins the LSU/Arky matchup, we win provided we take care of business you-know-where.

(and to an argument I read earlier about the illegitimacy of a possible Alabama national championship v. LSU because of the regular season loss and the fact we didn’t win the conference:

    regardless, regardless, regardless.

regardless of what happened earlier in the season, if LSU and Alabama are matched up in the BCS championship game – you know, the game to matchup the NUMBER ONE AND NUMBER TWO TEAMS IN THE NATION FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP – the winner is champion. If Oregon was matched up v. number 1 LSU and won, the earlier LSU win simply wouldn’t matter at that point REGARDLESS of what anyone may think. arguing against for any reason is the equivalent of intellectual masturbation. yeah, it feels good, but in the end your logic is still in the toilet)

    28 – 27. NEVER AGAIN!
