The University of Alabama advised fans who buy their tickets on the Internet or from individuals outside the stadium to be on the lookout for counterfeit tickets. Here is the official release from UA:

Notice To Alabama-LSU Football Fans Concerning Counterfeit Tickets
The University of Alabama is looking forward to hosting another sellout crowd when the Crimson Tide football team hosts the LSU Tigers on Saturday evening at Bryant-Denny Stadium, and the UA Athletic Ticket Office wishes to remind fans of the potential danger of being sold counterfeit tickets at Tide home games.

If fans have any doubt about the validity of their tickets, they can visit the UA Athletic Ticket Office at Coleman Coliseum to verify their tickets during regular business hours, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. On game day those tickets can be verified beginning at 3 p.m. by University officials on Saturday at the stadium by reporting to Gate 3 or Gate 32. Officials will be available at those gates to examine any tickets.

Unfortunately, counterfeit tickets – sold on the Internet and by individuals around the stadium and on campus on game day – can lead to some fans being defrauded. With this in mind, the UA Athletic Ticket Office would like to remind fans that any person who purchases a stolen or counterfeit ticket may be denied admission at the gates and any individual trying to gain entry with a ticket found to be fraudulent could be subject to investigation. Also, any person in the stadium who is caught with a stolen or counterfeit ticket will be ejected.

“We want our loyal fans to understand that purchasing game tickets on game day from individuals on the street is a risky proposition, at best,” said Chris Besanceney, Assistant Athletic Director for Ticketing & TIDE PRIDE. “The lone authorized outlet for Alabama football tickets is the UA Athletic Ticket Office. Buyers who purchase tickets from other sources do so at their own risk.”

  1. Indy vol. when was the lat time you orange turds scored a touchdown. Or better yet completed a forward pass. You reap what you sow. Thank you. Fat phil.

  2. 47 21 bama – lsu needs to walk b4 they crawl….lsu has not been to a bcs bowl since the 2 loss season of 07

lsu has had 4 8 0 seasons in history bama 4 since 2005….

    1. How many BCS bowls had Alabamaa been to and won before it went undefeated and won the 2009 National Championship? What the hell does that have to do with anything? Nothing just like your comments. You make some of the most stupid statements. But you 47-21 predictin is not stupid, its ignorant.

  3. You are right JAF (Just All Phuckedup), he is ignorant. He predicted a 26 point win and I already told you 31-6 a 25 point win. Bwaa haww haww! If you don’t think experience makes a difference you better go talk to Awbie. LSWho has been nowhere since ’07. While the players on this team won a West title, played in the SECCG and represented the SEC in the Sugar Bowl in ’08; Won it all in ’09; In ’10 beat the Big 10 Champion in the Cap One Bowl; Already in ’11 stomped Penn St in front of 107,000 Whiteout fans in Happy Valley and sent Florida back to the Stone Age in the Swamp. Yeah, you beat Oregon, but at a Neutral site. Not quite the same as doing it in front a a hostile crowd in Happy Valley or the Swamp. This game is old hat to these guys while the Corndogs could be just a little nervous don’t ya know! RTR!
