Another week down in the NFL season, and former Bama players now in the big league continue to make their mark. Performances of note were Rolondo McClain’s six tackle performance against Cleveland in Oakland’s emotional win, their first home win since the death of longtime Raider’s owner Al Davis.

Also noteworthy was Jarret Johnson’s five tackle, 2 assist and 1 sack outing in the win over Houston, and Mark Ingram getting another touchdown in his green pro career. And though the stat book doesn’t show it, Andre Smith received praise for his performance in the trenches as the Bengals defeated rival Indianapolis.

Absent this week was Julio Jones, still nursing a hamstring injury.

  1. The ranks are getting thinner for our rookie skilled position players. All we have left to root for is Mark, and if the phucking Saints don’t learn to block for the run he’s gonna get killed just like Reggie Bush did. RTR!
