Alabama Football Rolls Over Florida, 38-10
Trent Richardson rushes for a career-high 181 yards

Junior running back Trent Richardson rushed for 181 yards on 29 carries, both of which were career highs, as the No. 3/2 Alabama football team took down No. 12/12 Florida 38-10 Saturday at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. With the win, the Crimson Tide remains undefeated on the season at 5-0 overall and 2-0 against Southeastern Conference opponents, while the Gators fall to 4-1 overall and 2-1 versus league foes.

Alabama held Florida to 15 rushing yards for the game, 244 yards shy of its season average. The Tide collected 366 total yards of offense in the game compared to the Gators’ 222 yards. Richardson accounted for two of Alabama’s five touchdowns, while senior linebacker Courtney Upshaw, sophomore quarterback AJ McCarron and sophomore running back Eddie Lacy collected one apiece. Alabama returns to Bryant-Denny Stadium against Vanderbilt Saturday, October 8, at 6 p.m. CT. The game will air on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU.

  1. Right before half-time — how come we did not get the Touchdown? How can you call a time-out the way Florida did after that while the whistle wasn’t blown? I was confused on the way the officiating went down on that?

    Anybody have takes on that? Because we should of tacked on 7 before we went to half.

    BTW, I know we won, but I watched the officiating in three games, LSU vs. Kentucky, Aubarn vs. S. Carolina and the marquee game. There’s some BAD calls being made.

  2. where am i going wrong? with a class act like dooley at tn even the puke orange is looking better to me.
