Technically one Alabama player’s team is in action tonight in the Monday Night Football matchup between the St. Louis Rams and the New York Giants. However, the player, Marquis Johnson for St. Louis, is listed as an active player, though “physically unable to perform”. So since he won’t record any stats tonight, we’ll go ahead and give the numbers for week two.

Alabama players played important roles in three of the weekend’s most exciting finishes: Green Bay @ Carolina, Oakland @ Buffalo and Philadelphia @ Atlanta. Unfortunately, the Tide has three players on what may be the worst NFL team in the history of professional football, the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs are NFL’s version of Ole Miss.

Last week it was Rolando Mclain with only 1 tackle. This week DeMeco Ryans with only 1. What is going on?

I know; I didn’t see DeMeco’s game this past weekend, but I did see Rolondo’s two weeks ago and his stats were not an accurate measuring stick on his impact on the game. He was everywhere.

I was more wrong about Kareem going pro early than anything in recent memory. Dude is an impact player.
