The Mississippi State Bulldogs have promise.

They just never live up to the promise. Kind of like Birmingham, Alabama and its history of professional football, it was always close.

So close.

Today Mississippi State was close to Auburn.

But the Bulldogs couldn’t do enough, and Auburn stopped them close to the goal line.

In these highlights watch as Auburn intercepts Chris Relf and return the interception for a touchdown. You will also see LaDarius Perkins go 40 yards for a touchdown. Relf also tosses a touchdown pass and Trotter finds the endzone with a nice pass. However, the definitive moment was Relf getting stuffed at as time expires.

    1. haha man that first loss is gonna sting you. You know you are only two plays away from being 0-2 right now. You call that greatness, and that is okay. Maybe that luck will follow you all year this year too.

  1. State is a crap-hole team….no real drive or tenacity. Mullen stands around with his arms crossed in a daze. At least Cheesnick is fired up although those refs were dead-set on giving the game to aub…. the money is still flowing on the plains.

  2. All dumbazz Relf had to do is extend the ball 2 inches to the plane of the goal before he hit the ground. Dumbazz! Awbie will never move the ball against a real defense and their defense can’t stop a good high school offense. RTR!

  3. Which one of you assholes predicted miss state to win 42 to 14? This site is a joke!
The Auburn Tigers have forgotten how to lose- Scott Van Pelt
    War Eagle!

    1. That win is just setting you guys up for dissappointment. Miss. St. will finish the season ahead of Auburn in the west. LSU, BAMA, Georgia, Arkansas and probably Florida put an end to the luckiest team in the conference.
